I've sort of been trying to do something towards being debt free every day and have decided i should pop a little update on here just to confirm what i have doneSo i will re-introduce
Money News - i re-listed all my unsold 99p items
- i stocked up on a product that is pricey and we need it very regularly from shopping - it was half price so that was good and will continue to save me money over the long-term
- i enjoyed a reduced price item for tea rather than the £2.50 i was going to have to spend for what i *really, really* wanted
- i sold a few bits on the bay of e today from last weeks listing so thats good
- i have had some cashback track - now i just need them to start paying out - i'm waiting of over £100

Hi everyone
I didn't update last night with
Money News(yesterday)
Saved £28 on something i had to buy anyway so PADed this :T

So not too much done really but its all about getting into the habit of little and often
Really feels like my debt is moving very slowly at the moment, albeit in the right direction. Think i'm going to cash in my massive £200 in savings and pay it off target 3 - if i do this on monday once the money comes through target 3 will then be my lowest outstanding balance.
So £1182 to go, less £200 savings = 982 to go, less £50 due in 2weeks = £932 to go, less £42 eb*y sales confirmed - hopeful of more but we will need to wait and see = £890 to go, OH owes me £2 = £888, less £100 usual payment = £788 [wanted to pay a bit more but trying not to leave myself short for hols] less £28 grocery savings *must be strict with myself* = £760...
I'm also due in the region of £200 cashback so obviously that will help once it pays out
Even so that still would leave me owing £560  which with some oomph! i could clear in june - but i want to start on target 5 then  so i need to really get a wriggle on this month in order to stay anywhere near on target for being debt free by my birthday this year
So all of this means the answer must be to start selling more things - but what things ? i've hardly anything left as it is i may well complain about my wardrobe being full but i have no drawers for clothes to go in (no room for them) i've just got the 1 wardrobe that houses all coats and jackets as well as all clothes winter and summer and no sets of shelves in there either. Hmm... pondersome pondersome pondersomeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
It may not sound terribly moneysaving but i cooked me and my fella a full english brekkie today
It was partly a compromise as i cannot afford for us to go out tomorrow - i could have used the £28 saved for this but wanted to pay it off debt (which OH does not know about) So instead i made us brekkie.
I already had in the beans, toms and eggs and the sausages and bacon were reduced price or what i like to refer to as my little yellow stickers of happiness. All enjoyed with toast, coffee and juiceA very nice start to the day it was too and the pots didn't take massively long to do either
I then spent some 'pretend' money todayBasically my amaz*n vouchers
The lovely flying fresian extremely generously sent me some card making supplies and has been giving me advice on materials etc. and i really wanted to make a start now that i'm feeling a little better - i've not been too well but don't want to post too much about it in case i'm identified by someone i know
So i ordered a book from amaz*n - took a bit of time choosing but i'm happy with my choice
and i then stumbled across another book about another crafty subject i'm very interested in so ordered that as well - i can actually combine that with the card making too
I could stretch it a bit and say that its an investment for when i start selling my supplies
but i hope that my creations are good enough
Continuing with all things crafty i also enquired about a sewing course - quite intense 2 full days it is and this should hopefully refresh my meagre sewing skills and i can hopefully get stuck in with some re-fashioning of clothesand making some from scratch too. I'll probably need more material for that though
so it'll have to wait. The main thing is that i'll be saving money on all the trousers i have to pay to get altered etc.

So i am back with a little update
After pondering away i know i need to raise more money to chuck at the debt, and then, in the longer term, throw at the mortgage
I am missing my p/t work moneyCurrently though it is the right thing for me and my health to just be doing 1 job. It is also giving me some time to apply for new jobs. There were no new jobs for me to apply for yesterday but i still feel better that i now have my cv ready to send off when required
So in an attempt to raise some much needed pennies i have challenged myself to list 10 newly listed items on the bay of e this weekendIt doesn't sound loads but as i've listed everything possible already then it is a bit of a squeeze to do it  So hopefully some more decluttering is afoot

i spent £4 today - it was on crafty supplies - all the other supplies were bought with amaz*n vouchers but this was much cheaper for the cash Hmmm...
Need to think of more ways to get the moneys coming in

Target 1 Start Balance 01/04/12 £1345
1, £1345 - 22.00 = 1323
2, £1323 - 27.00 = 1296
3, £1296 - 38.00 = 1258
4, £1258 - 25.00 = 1233
5, £1233 - 2.00 = 1231
6, £1231 - 2.00 = 1229
7, £1229 - 2.00 = 1227
8, £1227 - 6.00 = 1221
9, £1221 - 2.00 = 1219
10, £1219 - 2.00 = 1217
11, £1217 - 3.00 = 1214
12, £1214 - 2.00 = 1212
13, £1212 - 28.00 = 1184
14, £1184 - 52.00 = 1132
15, £1132 - 2.00 = 1130
16, £1130 - 17.00 = 1113
17, £1113 - 2.00 = 1111
18, £1111 - 2.00 = 1109

Lovely to have you back ebayqueen- you'd be better off spending your time resting than catching up with my diary - i am sure you cannot have missed much - probably just me moaning about lack of money, how to find more money, how to get more money coming in, how much money do i owe, will i make debt free by my birthday... yep that'll probably sum it all up
Although i guess it'll be perkier than this post - sorry hom i've just had a rotten few days and feel completely rotten too
*But* you are brill - as is the lovely jwil and it is nice to have the support of you both too
xx
