Vicki, (tiny writing now cos i'm not proud of what am about to type) 2xpies@400cal each. peas@200.christmas cake slice@700. turkey carvery dinner@700.sundae@350.family fudge cake@1800.fish+chips 600. :oThese are the accurate numbers I've checked each item in the cal counter book, total 5150, am surprised that i managed to overestimate by nearly 2000, although it was the middle ofthe night when i did it, but still no less shameful.
Eric - dont worry Ive already slapped myself good and proper, and am back on the wagon again today.
...Then there's a dual terrine - terrine is like pate. Young wild boar in wine and kid in Calvados with honey preserve...

mmm, "kid in calvados with honey preserve"... suppose that's one way of shutting the noisy blighters up on christmas morning!
It reminds me of one time queueing in a shop when a young kid waiting in the line innocently, but loudly, enquired of me "why are you so fat?" (much to the embarrassment of her mother I might add), and I couldnt think of anything to say back other than "its because I eat children for breakfast"... oops!

Hello,

Can I join in please? I weighed in today so will post a half-week loss (hopefully!) on Wednesday.

I currently attend WW but as a DFW, I've decided not to renew this month and put the money towards clearing our debts, instead. I'm a bit sad about this as have met some wonderful, supportive people there, but just can't justify it for now. Hopefully I can find the same support here :xmassmile

I started on my journey to lose 50lbs in February this year and managed to lose 27 of those by the summer. Unfortunately, lost focus and motivation and have now regained most of that, so back to the drawing board.

Looking forward to getting to know you all :xmassmile

P.S. Is the 5lb monthly challenge part of this board, or a separate thread?

Thanks,

H x

• Well I have had an eventful few days but I am very very Happy :D:D:D

Due to having the best OH in the world who sorted me out some winter tyres for my car I managed to get to Hampshire with no troubles what so ever. Despite drifting snow, silly people driving off the side of the road and people gawking at stone henge and driving at 10 MPH
My mum was so sweet she said she was very worried about my safety driving in those bad conditions but she was ever so glad I did and gave me a huge hug :D
Anyway long story short ....... The Consultant is very happy with her progress and the medication has reduced some of the cancer in her lungs and is keeping her stable with hardly any side effects. :j:j:j
We will know how the kidneys are doing when she has another CT scan in March which he booked there and then. So personally I see that as a really positive thing :T
As you can imagine I am so very very happy right now as she is doing so well and my prayers are currently being answered.

I also went to see the photo's last night and I was slightly shocked at how I looked in them. Yes I am a lot smaller but I still personally think I am too big. so I think in the new year I might have to look into hypnotherapy or something to help with this. I am glad for my mum's sake that we had them done though.

Margaretclare - that sounds lovely and you enjoy it, it is only 1 day after all

Betty - I like the Davina DVD always feel like I have done some exercise after doing that.

Puddings - WOW that was some binge where did you put it all ?? have you got hollow legs :rotfl: My OH loved the beer advent calendar

Fellpony - you must have been so proud, I hope you all had a lovely day

Vix - Blaming the cat ?? really ?? poor kitty and shame on you :p

I'm off to visit my friend tomorrow so think a little early christmas celebration may be in order :xmassmile
Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(
• AllIwant, that is very positive, to book a scan for March. Well done you for driving to see your mum, I bet you feel much better too just for having seen your mum and making sure she's doing ok.
Your hubby needs a big beer advent calendar for being able to make that happen for both of you.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, Proud is not the word, I had to ignore what they were saying about DD when she was going up for her award, they gave a little bit of her history and I was far too close to tears it was scary, not good with the amount of mascara I had applied!!

Welcome HelenPie, we're all friendly here!!

Betty I have splashed out and got three dvd's one is Davina, one is Jessie Wallace, and I though a dose of Hannah Waterman would be a good range to rotate through along with the treadmill, I am looking forward to starting them on Tuesday whilst DD is in school and DH is at work, no one to stare at me, and just me and my own issues!
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.

Good job I havent recorded that beanie!

Ted: alot basically! Have you got a reason for this? I've just eaten a kit kat and feel bad, however, I don't feel bad that I've just had 3 Tia Maria and cokes. Funny logic!
