its quite interesting because my mother is a celiac and at 80 years old she is very youthful in her ways--her brothers and sisters who led a 'northern' life with lots of drinking and poor diets died before the age of 50!--she cut out all flour products as prescribed in the article--she has never drunk alcohol--she could pass for in her 60s and has no real ailments!

Chocolate - really trips the old pleasure centre into overdrive, ultra energy dense with loaded fats and sugars. After two weeks you wont miss it, trust me.

This is so true. I have given up choc numerous times and not missed it after 2 weeks. But then when I eat it again I become instantly addicted again.

Love the disclaimer by the way! but i fully intend to blame you if i remain ugly! :rotfl:
3.5lbs off this week got my stone award and was also SOTW.

Not bad going considering the cream bun and sausage roll on Friday.

Walking up a mountain and superspeed soup seem to have helped. I am still feeling it in the thighs and butt! lol

    Well done! :T

Argh when do the clocks change?????? I always forget and end up late/early to everything the next day :o

Thanks for the new thread Fred :)

i think they change this coming sunday at 2am, pretty sure we put them back an hour at this time of year but does that mean it feels like we have an extra hour in bed or an hour less in bed? i always struggle to work that one out, especially as i often dont get to bed until about 2 anyway

Fall back, spring forward so it feels like an extra hour. I love this time of year

Was a +1lb for me this week. I actually made it a +2 but according to the chart I'd forgotten to put a -1 down somewhere. So I'm exactly the same weight as I was at the start of the last challenge. Pretty sure TOTM is looming. + made donuts and pancakes the other night. I couldn't resist the donuts, although I was good and didn't even have a taster of the pancakes. Been naughty at work too eating crisps and chocolate from the machine. Maybe it's time to leave my purse in the car again!!!!

So onwards and upwards!!!or downwards I hope :D

My scales appear to be back working properly again and gave me the same reading 3 times so it must be right! Its a -1lb for me this week, which isnt bad. Slowly slowly catchy monkey!

I wasnt kidding when I said the Big Girls Fitness class was going to be small. There was only 2 of us there! Really really enjoyed it though and have signed up to go next week already. The only downside is that its £10 a go, but if I wasnt there I would be spending that £10 in the pub.

schools? nooo! oop north t'youngsters get ther education from workin' down't pit :-)

i've lost 4lbs this week, so it just goes to show that the numbers on the scales arent always fair as Thursday Friday and Saturday this week was more or less one long binge... I dont get it?
