Lose Weight 31

Sorry, I forgot to come and update yesterday. First week back on weight watchers and exercising and I lost 4lbs! Was really pleased. I started a Zumba class last week and have just ordered a couple of DVDs of it so I can do it at home as well, as I don't think once a week will have much effect otherwise!
Congrats to everyone, particularly Safesound, a fantastic week all round.

(despite my sts)
Thanks for the chart Fred - I have a question tho, sorry, the last 2 weeks I lost 3lb then 2lb - my total loss for the month was 5lb and i had completed the montly challenge (5lb in Jan)
But now the chart says I have only lost 2lb this month????Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Fred:Ah, you missed my 1lb loss on the chart!! I dunno if you included that on the north/south thing either? Cheers!!
I had a good workout at the gym this morning, it killed me!!! The kind of work out thats left me with a headache and feeling a bit sick. Still, no pain no gain.0 -

Two slices of toast, standard. Cup of tea and boom. I also drink throughout the regime, my whole bottle of water is gone at the end. Im feeling better now. Its not happened before, but i felt dodgy throughout the work out, i was on the cross trainer and had to keep stopping, that doesnt normally happen!0

the best general strength building exercises are compound exercises, ie ones that use as much of the body as possible in one movement, and ideally you need to be doing 8-10 reps to failure

technique is critical as is warming up and stretching and working up to your max weight over time, hence a trainer is ideal, however if you like to read bodybuilding.com has all the info and excellent forums
as for belly flab, it is impossible to target areas for fat reduction (apart from with surgery) you just have to loose the excess fat, i just cant seam to shift my "apron"
Thanks for your advice Eric, I think I maybe need to speak to a personal trainer as you advise to get some advice. I have also now decided I have saggy skin on my upper arms that I hate so maybe they can help me with that too. I am also going to invest in some Bio-oil to help with the horrid stretch marks too. It is terrible what damage I have done to my body but I need to never go back there again.
Some one I work with has threatened to write to Gok to get me sorted out as they say I still dress as a big lady but with a normal size body :rotfl:
Well done Safesound on being SOTW
Hope everyone is having a good day? it has been quiet on here today :eek:Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
