New Years = lush!! Had a lovely bit of food and i danced all night. My playsuit was amazing, im so glad i wore it! It was hard to wee but i only weed twice all night, not bad going! Also do you remember Kris akabusi? well i tweeted him on twitter and he gave me a little smiley face back! so that was the climax of 2010! ha.
Forgot to record jools holland so still unaware of what he does! Recorded the fireworks though, they were amazing!! I want to go to London next year (knowing my luck i'll be flying and miss it!)
Hi to all the newbies!!!! Im having some fried bread today, WOOPS xx0 -
Happy New Year to all my weightloss Friends

I hope 2011 brings forward all that we wish for..... And the losses we desire
I finally had a night off the diet last night and decided to eat a little of what I wanted from the buffet etc..... But funnily enough I kept finding myself eating the carrot and cucumber sticks :rotfl:
First night of drinking since I started my diet and I dread to think of the damage but I did do a lot of dancing so I hope that counteracted it. Also got into playing some drinking games which I'm suprised my head isn't killing me more for. But I must say it was what I needed to let my hair down for a night and be silly
Hello and welcome to all the Newbies, a little too tired to remember your names (sorry) but as people said post often and good luck on your weight loss journey

Hello all - and Happy New Year!!

It was a very happy new years eve for me - lots of my friends came round (some with exciting news for the new year -like engagements!) and we all played games and drank a bit too much!
I have been for a long walk today and started a new SW food diary.
We went out for lunch and everyone had sarnies/baguettes or fish n chips but i had pasta with tom sauce and veg which was lush and bang on plan! feeling a bit smug now! lol. Good start to the year!!!
My friend who is doing Tony Ferguson has lost 2 stone and has a bit more to go. I did my best to listen patiently but she realy annoyed me by saying you're only allowed 1 carrot a day and other stupid stuff like that and I was like 'carrots are not the reason you are fat' DUH! She didnt mention the fact that half the diet is milkshakes, pre-made soups and dietry fibre powder - I just dont believe that it's teaching you anything about 'real food' - not many diets do tho. But it seems like she's shifting the blame to food and not her own behaviour, so I dont see how she'll ever keep the weight off to be honest. At least with SW nothing is 'banned' and I am re-educating myself aout portion size, feeling full, which foods are best for filling you up, dealing with cravings etc. All she is learning is that to be thin you can't eat normal food! Grr.
Rant over sorry!!!
Anyway, I am hoping 2011 is going to be a smashing year!

Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
Hello all - Happy New Year!! Well, I find myself making the same old resolution again - to lose weight. I've tried several different diets in the past including WW, SW and most recently Cambridge Diet. I lost nearly two stone on the CD in two months but it was a miserable experience and the weight has piled back on again.
I have entered myself for the Bupa London 10k run in May and I aiming to lose 2 stone or more by then. I've still got my old WW books and calculator so will follow that.
Good luck to everybody.Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb
Goal: 11st 10lb by my birthday in August

There's hula hooping on the Wii Fit plus Puds.0

I thought she was fantastically toned -no loose skin anywhere which was amazing considering how much she lost. Certainly makes me fancy taking up hoola hooping but suspect inertia will will out

BIG WELCOME to all our newbies
goldfinch - good luck with ww
teecee: you've been though a lot! SW is so good for healthy eating and filling up I agre.
lilvixen - sw allows you to cook from scratch or buy more prepared stuff - there is a sw threa on the health section of the money saving in marriages thread (though you are very welcome here too, but you'd get more sw specific advise there)
frogletina - the rigth headspace is definitely more than half the battle
darkshines- what a great goal to have! Well done you.
