It's quite pricey but i understand that it lasts and lasts and has good resale value. I've been looking on ebay but can't find any real bargains but happy to fork out if it's worth it and i can resell in a few years.
thanks!

I don't know about resale, but at the grand old age of 40 my parents still have playmobile that I had as a child, so I can confirm it does last!0

Best toy my kids had. Brilliant stuff. Daily play in our house for years0
-
i know an adult that collect the stuff! she collects a specific type though!0

I cried when my grandparents sold my collection... wouldn't be utterly worrying but I was 21!!!!
I keep eyeing all the new stuff and wondering when Little Miss is going to be old enough to get some... so I can play with it!!! Sad... I'm nearly 31 for goodness sakes!
Yep worth EVERY penny in my view!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Playmobile is good, but I think that Lego is better...0

Playmobil is fantastic as the stuff I bought my kids is still being used by their step brother 20 years later, a poster mentioned Lego which is good but if you loose a few pieces you are !!!!!!ed.
oh and to answer your original question, its worth every £ spent on it0 -
Great :j
Good to know that some things are worth the investment.
Ebay here I come....:D0 -
Worth every penny!!!! I had loads of it as a child, I played with it for years and years and years (probably a lot longer than I should have). Now, very sadly it's all in the loft waiting for when I have children. I wish I could still play with it but my imagination has died
but I still look at it longingly in the shop (I'm 23
)
Thank you to all posters :A0 -
Depends on the age of the kids. I spent 3 hours making the police station for my 4 year old's birthday and he took about 3 mins to take it to bits.I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0

Me and DH decided on playmobil for our 4 year old son last christmas and wish we hadn't bothered, we spent more time putting it together than he has played with it!0
