    Hi ya Nomoney:)

Sorry to hear about your little girl falling. The same happened to my only girl at 3 years old, she just tripped walking outside the front of house. Thankfully your little one has no long lasting serious injury and the teeth will grow back. My daughter (17) has the most beautiful teeth! Always something with children..never a dull moment.

Looks like you are being very positive about your finances and that is good. Hopefully next year your mortgage will sort itself out. You have had a tough few months and hopefully all will now go a bit smoother for you all.

take care and keep us posted

Sorry to hear about your daughter, must have been a shock for her and your wife! At least there's no long term damage. Lol to the kitten request though!

Hi ebayqueen and jwil, thank you for your comments.

She doesn't seem bothered in the slightest, although one tooth sits lower than the rest it seems to be fixing quite nicely so it might not need to come out, it will just be a little unsightly until it falls out in its own time. She has eaten a couple of "proper" meals, albeit heavily mashed up, and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems so we shall wait and see.

Bootfair this weekend is at risk as the weather isn't expected to be nice, that could prove annoying as I want my house back!

Hi Kat - thanks for the comments.

Bootfair didn't happy this weekend despite the weather being fantastic, simple reason being there wasn't one locally on Sunday...

So, we spent the day at the in-laws in their garden topping up the tans (or starting one in my case). Saturday was a little bit more expensive, as we needed to replace the childrens bed linen (duvets) and we needed new pillows as the ones we have are getting on a little now - although it was more expensive than Sunday we still managed, thanks to Asda to get the replacements for under £20 which can't be shouted at.

Payday this weekend, which I am desperately in need of - for the first time in ages I haven't been able to set some money aside for overpayments - but with the football season restarting in August that will all change as I will be back refereeing again!

Looks like all the nice weather has ended and we are back to some gloom - hopefully it clears by tonight, as day off tomorrow and want some sunshine to enjoy.

The inlaws are taking the kids camping on Thursday until the weekend, so they get a nice free little break - I work till 8 on Thursday so by the time I get home they are in bed, and I am out again by 8 Friday morning and return around 6 in the evening, so I won't actually miss any time with them.

My wife is working Sunday, so depending on the predicted weather and if I can get a babysitter I might try and do a bootfair on my own Sunday morning (or rope my brother in to assist - although that has longer odds than winning the Euromillions). It will shock my wife, and me being up that early, but I think I can handle it.

Hope the weather improves for you tomorrow. It's pretty gloomy here too, though still warm.

Hope the kiddies enjoy their camping trip, I'm sure it will be great fun for them!

    Pay day!

All bills paid this morning so I have a good indication of where I am financially - fingers crossed with pre-season also starting I will be able to save the vast majority of that this month (less our eldests birthday presents).

Bootfair this weekend is a no go as nowhere local running one on Sunday. Still, with the kiddies at the inlaws and my wife working I can have a nice day relaxing (might even look at ebaying some of the junk scattered around the house).

    Hi Nomoney

That is great news. It makes you feel good when things actually go well for a change. All we want is a quiet life. Good luck with your football and enjoy a bit of 'me' time too.

    God bless

A quiet life in my household rarely happens, I am sure that by the weekend I will be cursing suggesting that I could have a relaxing Sunday and potentially having money left over come this time next month.

Eldests birthday present was sorted today, Argos have their sale prior to the release of their new catalogue and the present she wanted the most was included in this sale so I picked it up saving nearly £30 and getting it half price.
