    Haha Kel!

Had my 28 week check up today, baby is fine and I am measuring right etc. Only thing is i had slightly high blood pressure and traces of protein so have to keep an eye out for symptons of pre eclampsia but she said could be down to other things. Got another appointment in 3 weeks anyway so will see what is like then.

I did manage to get her to sign the HIP grant form. I am not sure whether will get the money as am borderline on when the cut off date is but i emailed the tax people and they said i had to be 24+1 on the 31st december which i was. Would be great if we got it as would use to buy cot.

Got cheque in post from survey company so will pay that in tomorrow to go towards baby fund. Payday tomorrow so will have enough for sofas then and can start buildng up extra money for maternity leave.

Payday woohoo! Have transfered money to my savings so now have enough for my half of sofas when we have to pay them off and also have started my maternity fund. Paid my cheque in this morning so that money will also go in maternity fund when it is my account.

I sent off my HIPgrant form so fingers crossed they accept me.

Not got much planned this weekend. I am going to do some lists tonight of baby stuff i need to buy and also stuff i need for my hospital bag. I feel like I need to start getting more organised. Might go into shops tomorrow and get a couple of bits.

Well now we have another car problem.... OH came home last night from work saying the car had been flashing the engone warning light and shuddering. We took it for a diagnostic test today and is something to do with coulant leaking .They couldn't do it there so didn't charge us so we have got to take it to garage monday. Grr i hate cars.

We did have some lunch while waiting in harvester which was nice. Didn't get chance to go to shops but might go tomorrow or next weekend.

Need to do some cleaning as we have a flat inspection wed, they are usually in and out in a min but i get paranoid.

Just been to sainsburys to do a bit of a food shop. We have quite a lot of meat in freezer so mainly got other stuff so wasn't too expensive. I also found some nappies on offer reduced down and had a £2 off voucher so got them. Got quite a stash now!

Had a nice morning doing some shopping with my sister. Was nothing glamorous but now have most the stuff for my hospital bag. Got some cheapy primark nighties , mini toiletries etc. Also got some little socks and scratch mitts for baby. I also got myself a gym ball as they are supposed to be quite comfy to sit on and also useful for later on getting baby in right position etc. Have blown it up and is quite comfy sitting on it!

Sorry to hear about the car. There's always something. I wish I had gotten a gym ball when I was pregnant, they are supposed to be great.

Yeah I think we will never get a break, never mind!

Well car was meant to go to garage today but got a phone call from OH that he couldn't find his key. Anyway when I got home I had a quick look and found it in 10 secs, he said he was looking for 3 hours lol. Car will be going to garage tomorrow now.

I got an e-mail today saying i get five pounds from a survey, every little helps so all good!

I have just cleaned the bathroom as we have a flat inspection wednesday. They only usually have a quick glance round but i get paranoid. Hopefully OH will do some hoovering etc tomorrow.

Going to chill out and watch one born every minute now.

Well it is February now so just over two months till baby is here eek!

Car has been fixed, fingers crossed it is ok now! It cost £140 which has taken my savings down but still got enough for sofas and tiny but for maternity leave.

OH said they spent two seconds looking round flat as usual lol. So no need to get worried!

Had a busy week at work but is going quick which is good, can't believe I only have 8 weeks left of work now.
