I just got a good deal on getting some photos printed. Been meaning to do it for ages as got some frames that need filling.Got just over 50 photos and including postage was £2 something. They had a code for 50 photos for 1p each and then got some bigger ones for frame.0

Ah you remember me! I haven't been on dfw for sometime but it's nice to see you are doing well.
I am good thank you. Incredibly broody though myself as we have lots of new babies in our family and so I am just waiting for the day when we can have some of our own.:) Did you watch One Born at Christmas? I loved it and cried several times at the births (such a baby myself!
)
Your photos sound like a great deal. I always plan to get photos printed and then never do.Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Yes I did watch it, I love it. The new series of One Born every minute starts Monday, looking forward to watching that. It isn't scaring me yet but the nearer it gets the more it will dawn on me that I have to actually do that!0

Morning,
I have just had a quick look at the finances and not looking disasterous. Got a couple of more expensive weekends coming up so as long as I can try and keep spending in the week to a minimum, should be OK.
Last night I managed to do a bit of rearranging in our room, and found some space in drawer for baby clothes.
Today not got many plans, need to clean bathroom and might pop to sainsburys to recycle some cards.0 -
Ohh sounds like your doing a bit of nesting!
I ended up giving up my wardrobe for Owens clothes and bits and i took the tiny space at the end as i hardly had any clothes that fit anyway lol.
I also love One born every minute and always end up crying when the baby is born and mum holds him/her for the first time.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Managed to clean bathroom and took a trip to sainsburys although ended up getting a few bits which prob could have done without but never mind. Just going to relax rest of the day now.
I sent an e-mail asking whether we would be able to renew our contract in April for our flat and they rang OH yesterday to say would be fine to do so that is a massive relief. Didn't really fancy moving when almost 9 months pregnant. Our flat is ground floor so is pretty good for having a baby. My sister lives with us at the moment but is planning on moving out soon to live with her boyfriend. Then the baby will have its own room but to be honest will be in with us for first few months anyway.
Maria - most my clothes don't fit now, so only wear a few things. I will prob end up giving up most my space for baby!0 -

Maria, have you posted anywhere about your birth story? I'd love to read it if you have. Although, I appreciate it is a personal thing and so understand if you want to keep the details private too
Sounds like you have had a good tidy out Wendz which will be useful for when the baby arrives. Have you thought anymore on names?Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Im on a baby and bump forum and was going to write a birth story but i had such an awful birth (which ended in an emergency C-section) that i didnt want to think about!
But now 8 weeks on i dont mind thinking about it and will soon write one. When i write it up i will let you know.:D Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
It is good to know that you feel more able to talk about the birth Maria, must have been hard for you!
Not much to report really , work went quick today which was good. Have been getting good feedback on ebay which is good news as not counting money till everything has been received.
I got an email today that says I am eligible for HIPGrant. I am in last couple of days...lucky timing. Some people have had trouble with midwives saying they aren't eligable so am going to print the email for my next appointment. Could really do with the money!0 -
I thought every mum to be could receive the HIP grant....have they done away with it now then?? Just like the child trust fund..i just managed to get the £50 one..instead of the £250 it used to be.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
