Well I have been a bit rubbish at updating in the last week, will try and update more!
The weekend was good, I met up with some people who i went to uni with which was lovely on sat and sun just chilled out.
Haven't got much further Christmas shopping wise but am going this sat with a couple of friends so should get more done then. I did get my Grandma some wrinkle cream she wanted from boots with £5 off skincare voucher.
I am 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so half way! Can't believe it, seems to be getting quicker and quicker. I have had a few probs last couple of days. Had bad back pain yesterday so went to the doctors but is nothing serious and then slipped on way home today thankfully on my bum but baby is still kicking so think she is ok!
I worked out today that I should be able to pay off insurance on credit card by end of year and have enough in bank for my half of the sofas so I think from Jan i might set myself a task to save as much money as poss for when I am on maternity leave.0 -
Oh take it easy. It's awful enough in this weather without being pregnant. Look after yourself x0

Thanks Yukki! I managed to get home today OK.
We have put up our Christmas tree today, here is a pic. Was really nice putting it up with OH before he went to work.
I managed to get a couple of presents sorted last night. Ordered a dvd boxset for my sister and a dvd for OH. We have decided we are going to spend £20 on each other and get lots of little things as the tv was our main present to each other. If anyone has any ideas for what else i could get let me know!0 -
Have managed to get most the pressies sorted this week. Went shopping with OH yesterday and got his Mum, dad and brother sorted. Also got some personalised choc bars from thorntons for hampers for his sisters. Will try and take a pic of them when they are finished. Waiting for a few parcels in post then can get wrapping things.
Also went to Asda yesterday and picked up another new baby kit with nappies , wipes and a hat for joining their parent club. Have got for packs of nappies now and have heardly spent anything on them! Would be good if could keep getting deals like that.
Today we went to Winter wonderland in London and met up with my Mum and Dad and sister and her boyfriend. We went on the observation wheel and sat in the Bavarian village bar thing and had german hotdog and lots of hot choc for me and mulled wine for others. Was a nice day and feel all christmassy now.
I am getting together with my girl friends on Friday and we are doing Secret Santa where we make something. Best idea i have come up with is making some christmas biscuits. Does anyone have any great ideas.0 -
Well done on the shopping, I still have some to do, which I want to get done this week.
Hmm I gave my secret santa some jewellery I'd made. I think biscuits are a nice idea.0 -
Sorry I haven't been on in ages.
All Christmas shopping is done. I am waiting on one parcel which I hope will arrive soon, took another one 12 days after dispatched to come!
My biscuits went down well for secret santa which was good.
This weekend I am going to get my hair cut in half hour, thankfully is a 2 min walk although am dreading slipping! My best friend is back from Australia for Christmas and is driving down to see me today, hope it is OK with the snow. Looks like it is going to be snowing even more later eek. I am not planning on going very far though.
I have done quite well with the surveys in the last couple of weeks. I have withdrawn £65 in total from a few sites and am very close to withdrawing another £30. That is all going into my savings towards sofas and car costs in Jan.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.0 -
Yesterday was a nice day. Got my hair cut, also got an appointment for a blowdry Christmas eve as they are doing an offer of them for £10 so thought i would treat myself!
Then my friend came down and we went to pub for lunch and a bit of a catch up. She went into London to see some other uni friends. I said I might go and meet her today to help her buy a present for her sister. The trains are a bit dodgy though so we will see.0 -
Congrats on the upcoming arrival Wendz.
I hope you manage to pay off your sofas soon!

Thanks Kel!
Well Christmas turned out well. The family came down and we all had a really good time. Myself and my Grandma were a bit confined to the house as it has been like an ice rink outside.
I got some lovely pressies including lots of comforting things like dressing gown, slippers and lots of DVD's to watch so at least I won't be a bored pregnant lady.
Unfortunately I managed to get a sickness bug boxing day and spent the whole day in bed , felt a bit better yesterday but still can't quite face the Christmas leftovers. Now OH seems to have gained the same thing...not good!
At least I haven't managed to spend any money for the last coupe of days!
Hope you all had a great Christmas.0 -
Sorry you haven't been well. There's some nasty stuff going around. We've all had colds over xmas but we still had a good day despite coughing and sniffing lol.0
