They are stopping it, you have to be in your 25th week by 31st December so anyone due 2 days after me or more won't get it..lucky timing!

Got £25 from a survey site today in my account. Sent last ebay parcel today. Have relisted the two things that didn't sell but haven't sold yet.

Well MOT and service today , we had to get two new tyres which we expected but overall cost wasn't terrible. Have had to raid savings again grr but after this months pay should be able to rebuild it up a bit again to enough money for the sofas. Is annoying but at least i had those savings in the first place.

OH is taking car to Ford tomorrow as needs one more thing doing that garage couldn't do but shouldnt cost much..fingers crossed. Car has been so expensive this month.

Well OH took car to Ford and they said depending on how it went could cost £30 or up to £500 eek. Thankfully was £30. So glad didn't have to use any more of the sofa money. Will be able to get that back up in two weeks when I get paid.

I bought OH another birthday pressie today so hope he likes it. Also got mysel some more leggings, keep ripping them but am practically living in them at the moment.

I cant believe they have stopped the HIP grant already! They only started doing it a while ago, yeah you were very lucky! :)

Thats good your OH's car only cost £30 and not £500 to fix!

Btw atm Sainsburys has 1/3 off baby wipes, nappies, creams etc etc. I always stock up on 4 pack of johnsons wipes when they do this as there a bargin but i forget how much! Btw i stocked up on Huggies Pure wipes as before baby came along they were always on offer...and now i know why! There rubbish and small. I also found the pampers new baby nappies were rubbish at keeping poo in the nappy, i quickly swapped to using huggies that i had also stocked up on and found huggies normal red nappies fit very well but for some reason huggies organic in the cream pack are a rubbish fit around Owens legs.

Have you joined the Asda baby club online? After you join you can print a free huggies newborn pack from Asda for free. That has the pure wipes and the organic nappies and an over sized hat in it. lol but it all comes in handy, it also has 2 coupons on the inside of the cardboard box for £2 off huggies newborn nappies and £2 off little swimmers. (although im sure you being an MSE girl you've already seen it and claimed it :))

Thanks for all the hints Maria!

I have got two of those new baby kits. Got one free from Asda with the parenting club and one for 50p as had £2.50 on and was on offer for £3.

I have got four packs of nappies and wipes so far. Not sure whether to stock up even more or just see how I go. Might get some Johnsons wipes as they sound better than Huggies.

Well the weekend has been really nice. Got the train down to Southampton to my parents. Yesterday morning me and Mum went to pick up the travel system and carseat she bought me. She also bought a really cute little pink outfit , bless her. This baby will be spoiled!

We spent half the day trying to test all the bits of travel system but seems to work so is going up in loft at parents till baby arrives.

We went to see my Grandma in the afternoon and she said she wants to buy us something so I suggested a moses basket so she said to look out for one. My family are really lovely.

Then yesterday evening I went for a meal for my friends birthday , was really nice had a burger and banana split for pudding. Also managed to keep to the budget I set myself.

Getting the train back this afternoon. Going to check all my finances etc when I get back but should be where I think they are...

Also managed to sell OH's last watch on ebay yesterday so thats one more thing out the house and a bit of money towards car tax.

I am not sure where abouts it is, a place called Buckfastleigh? I am staying with one of my best mates from uni and one of our other mates is going down too. Should be fun!

Have managed to redeem from a couple of survey sites which is good but might take a while for money to come through.

Just went to shop and got some wrapping paper for OH's birthday pressies. I am going to take him for dinner on Thurs. There is an Italian nearby we have heard is nice so might try that.
