Due date is 20th April Kel!
Shame about the baby Asda baby sale Maria. Our local asda was rubbish even at the start of it.
Not much to report really. I am trying to set myself a budget for each week and managed to stick to it this week yay. Need to get a couple of birthday pressies next week and getting my hair cut so might be an expensive week.0 -
Got just over a tenner from asurvey site in bank today so has gone in maternity fund.
Put some money in card for my friend for her birthday today as won't see her. Also bought some stamps to send cards as also had one for OH's niece.
Got three days off now yay so a nice long weekend.Getting hair cut in morning then going totry and sort my train ticket out as magnetic strip has gone againm drives me mad.
Hope you all have a nice weekend whatever you have planned.0 -
Well had my hair cut this morning, is shorter but i like it. Tried to go to station to sort ticket but office was shut(is only a little station).
Have done some washing and taking bins and recycling out. Just a bit bored now waiting for OH to finish work and come home.0 -
Well OH didn't end up coming home till 11! Overtime money though so all good.
I walked to sainsburys to get some dinner but hoping OH will be up soon so we can go food shopping before he goes to work again. He takes the car so can't go on my own.
Also need to get niece a present so might go to argos or look in Argos.
If we go to Sainsburys I am going to make some fairy cakes as just need a couple of ingredients.0 -
Just done the food shop and was a bit more expensive than normal and we didn't buy any meat as we have a fair bit in freezer. Ah well should last us a while an OH got a load of stuff to take to work so at least he will be wasting less money.
I got my stuff to make cakes so will make some this afternoon yay.0 -
When will this car ever work properly!! I went to an antenatal class this morning and on the way back it started doing the same thing again, shuddering and the engine light flashing so it is back up the garage now. Poor OH is getting stressed out by it all , he has done a load of overtime this week but he said he wanted to buy nice things for baby not spend on car bless him. I am the same but trying not to let it stress me out, not much you can do!
Just walked up station again to try and get ticket sorted and shut again, so might try later. Not sure if is only open during peak times. Also went to Argos and used voucher we had to get OH's niece a present so that is sorted now.
If I manage to take my own lunches in Tues, wed, thurs to work then i will have stuck to budget for week. Was going to make pasta for dinner so will make extra to take in tomorrow.0 -
Hope the car doesn't cost you too much0

Well I have had a bit of a Good Luck Bad Luck today.
Started with me getting HIP Grant payment in the bank, very glad I managed to sneak in there by 2 days and get it. We are going to use the money towards cot and if anything is left anything else we need for baby.
Then we got news that car was going to cost £600 to fix! EEk! OH told them another garage said they would do cheaper so we might be getting it slightly cheaper.
Then I got home and had a cheque from insurance company for my excess as apparently my claim from over a year ago was settled 100%. I thought was getting settled 50/50! That money is going straight towards garage costs.
Other good news is I finally managed to sort my train ticket out, finers crossed the magnetic strip doesn't go again!0 -
In money news I got £11 m and s vouchers through today from credit card (get them from points from spending on card). Will add them to the £8 i had from last time and will get some more sleepsuits for baby as only have a couple so far.
Took my lunch again today so budget is still going well, just need to take something tomorrow.
In other news I am 30 weeks pregnant today! That means only 10 weeks till due date.Exciting!0 -
Car is back today and the good news is cost a lot less than we thought, so only another 70 to pay between us after my money from insurance company. Fingers crossed that is it for a while.
I went to mamas and papas today as had a five pound voucher and i got the cutest little hat which says welcome to the world with little ears. Think that will be babies first hat! Also got a couple more pink ones, so all good for hats now I think.
Tomorrow I am going for lunch with some girls from work to a thai restaurant that does a deal of two courses for £8 so looking foward to that.
Off to Southampton for the weekend to see family and friends which will be nice.0
