Puppy is "due" 21st Feb...baby is due according to scan, 24th March, but according to me around 15th March. Hoping baby waits til 17th at least as I'm on a course on 15th and 16th March that I don't want to miss!
Thanks for the well done, but we haven't earned it until we have finished! I've done 40% now, so its coming along. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
What breed/sex are you getting? (puppy, not baby
) My goodness you are cutting it fine with the course so near to your due date! But with everything going on at the moment, I am sure that knowing you, you will make it

A little girl choccy lab, she is in my avvie (that was last weekend) not a v.clear pic though.
The course sounds too good to miss and boss is paying, bless him. I'm going to email the organisers and try to get them to confirm I can get him a refund if I go into labour early. After all, one can work right up to the due date, right?!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Back at work today with dreadful back pain...forgot my drugs, hoping DH remembers the dry cleaning or he will be going to the funeral in his suit. eta that should have read...he will be going to the funeral in his JEANS!
Loads and loads to do, and MrS coming tonight. DD2 is on the mend and I think DD1 is better. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Got worse during the day and DH actually asked if I will make it to half term at work. Amazing coming from Mr Work Ethic himself!!
Marking is nearly at 50%, good thing as two days off later in the week. £55 on petrol and £81 on a week's food/toiletries/cleaning stuff. eta make that £71 since Mr S was late so got a £10 voucher, yay!
It does sound like some money is coming DH's way in terms of inheritance...so there may be some scope there for some changes. At least it will mean not running out of maternity pay and having to go back to work earlier than planned. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hope marking is going well.
Sorry to hear about your back -maybe your body is trying to get you to slow down just a teensy bit!
I did a two day course about a week before my first was due and it was fine, no problems at all. I'm not sure how much info I retained by the time i got back to work though!
btw your Mum sounds like a very lovely wise woman0 -

For sure, she is! I'm better today, remembered my drugs! But DH got up at 5 to go to London for an exam meeting, so no consequent chance of going back to sleep...one child sniffing and one child coughing.
The noise a child makes when simultaneously sucking their thumb and sniffing is truly revolting:eek:
We have a table booked at the village pub for dinner, not very MSE, but its not for enjoyment, you understand...but to support the rural economy! Also no village pub = dropped house prices;) DH won't be home until 7.30 though.
Then we have to pack, haven't ironed DH's good white shirt yet, and departure time 5 am tomorrow:(Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

DH managed to get an earlier train than planned, so all being well he will be home early. I am having a little rest before starting the packing, then out to the pub.
Bed early I think, early start. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
