DH has been to ASDA and got my huggies baby pack, with free nappies, wipes and a hat. Yay! Also filled in application for health in pregnancy grant, £190 though the m/w didn't seem clear about whether I woulod get it.

We got the treasure chest a couple of weeks back. Lovely item. DS was really pleased.

I never got told about any health in pregnancy grants either pregnancy. I thought you had to be on benefits. Nice if you get it though.

I *think* you may have missed it with your two, certainly I couldn't get it with DD2, who is 3. It isn't means tested and I think you have to be 25 weeks by Jan 1st, which I am, so fingers crossed...

Maan it is cold, but we have water now, the pipes have thawed. There is thick ice on the roads over the moor, its lethal.
NSD today, caught up a bit at work. Nothing else new to report.

I still haven't tried driving anywhere yet. Don't see the point as i don't have to, and even walking the kids to school and back is lethal.

I drove yesterday but now i've been barred (consultant doesn't recommend) and TBH i wouldn't again, roads a nightmare made worse by some drivers. HiP started April 09 onwards

Michelle although I will drive to get to work, I wouldn't drive my kids in this, so good call.

Ha! Caught up my work and got a £73 car insurance refund. Yay!

Quiet day. Mr S coming tonight and I've blued some cash on wine for our technicians so that will not be cheap.
Also piano lesson for DD1, probably and then collapse in front of fire.

The wine for the technicians may not be cheap, but i always found that they were the best spent pennies of the year in that if i was nicer than everyone else, i got favouritism.
