Puppy is back from the vet, in front of the fire conked out. I feel soooo guilty for putting her through it, but if she had puppies I couldn't bear to part with any and madness would descend.

I have a bid on the sink unit, 22 watchers and a day to go, wahey! :money:

you've done the right thing with the pup. We had ours done too and i was a bit traumatised when we left her at the vet, had a little cry in the car!

When we picked her up she was wagging her tail but crying because of the pain, bless her. The pain killers they gave her were good tho, seemed to do the job for her and she was fine after 2-3 days, our main issue was vet said to not let her get too giddy, pretty hard with a springer!!

After being hand fed scrambled egg last night, and eating her metacam on a slice of bread she is much restored.

Doesn't enjoy the lampshade much.

Plumber went home last night, I lit the aga, and the new pipework made a lake on the floor. He was also merrily fitting a thermostatic valve to the wrong heated towel rail. He is back today!

Ebay sounds promising for tonight, you should have a bidding war and the price might increase nicely throughout the day.

Still on £99...plumber has been allowed to go home, I made him stay until the aga was lit again, which was good since we found another leak.

Been on the phone to the kitchen guy, who having sold us a bespoke kitchen is now trying to alter our plans to fit standard units and increase his margins (er...no).

Thanks cath puppy is well enough to climb on sofas, so feeling better I think.

Phew I'm exhausted.

Fairly free and frank discussions with kitchen company today, but I think we've thrashed it out.

Found someone to make me some picture rail to match the original, checked out fridge freezers...

Need to lie down! And we went to bed at 8 o'clock last night.

Relief! Fridge freezer will fit, need to order that and d/w. Current d/w going on ebay tomorrow(0 listing weekend).

Anyone see "Educating Essex" last night?

Science teacher went a bit OTT booting a girl out of class, could be editing, but I don't think so.

He's otherwise ok.

Mr Drew stunned me by talking about his wife and kids (surely someone that camp had to be gay, but no...).

We had that on for a bit, but I could not stand to watch it. Reminded me too much that most of my lessons seemed to have kids in like that, and it was a bad place for me. Just made me really happy to be away from it all. Who needs that kind of stress in their life.

Its a really good programme, very honest.

Mainly makes me laugh, brings back my memories of school but shows how undervalued teachers are, i for one could not do that job and have a lot of respect for them.

I also thought mr drew was gay, he's camp as christmas but very funny, love how he interacts with the kids. Glad the fridge fits and the kitchens coming along nicely. Cant wait for pics!!
