DH is away to scatter his Mum's ashes, he just rang when his 'plane landed and said he'd come over all cold and clammy on the plane.
Worrying. He doesn't fuss, generally very stoic. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
The plasterer has just discovered mould from an ancient leak under the polyripple
so he needs to find out the extent of it and see how much needs reboarding. It was obviously bad at some point as part of the ceiling has been redone. It has leaked once since I've been here, and the roof has been redone since then... Fingers crossed it isn't too much more cost, or more importantly, TIME!!!

Oh dear, it's hard with older houses, isn't it?
I guess it's better not to have mould in your house, hidden or not. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

It's not old... It's 1950s... I now have a hole in the ceiling on the landingand my mother has invited herself to stay this weekend to see her new grandaughter, which means I have to change my plans but will get some help clearing up ready for the decorating!
I hope DH's flight isn't delayed for too long.0 -

1950s is old now...stupid easyjet...plane in the wrong place (wrong runway, wrong country??)
For the first time ever in 6 + years when he rang from the airport (I missed his call x3 since putting children to bed x3) he sounded like he needed me.
