Thanks Consultant and Suggs for your kind words it has really cheered me up. Rachel glad you are feeling better that dog of yours must be getting fit. I am working from home most of this week but I need to go and see some customers and take them Christmas goodies. I also have to buy them myself which will be like torture so I shall have to stay strong in Tesco's today. I think I will try to go for something I really don't like but hey what chocolates are there not to like.
Quite hungry already so better get some lunch before I hit the shop as that would really be too tempting.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks Alyssa, the gym scales are not perfect, and the floor tiles are those knobbly ones, so it never seems level. Though it seems to reflect what I am doing as well. Normally Im wearing jeans though as the scales are on the way in. I might 'borrow' them later if its queit and go in the changing room with them.
Im very aware the weight loss is too quick, and I guess that is a worry for me as well.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Suggs - well done. If you dont want to lose it then pass it over to me and I will put it down as mine :rotfl: OH knee is painful and its true to say he is doing my head in, big style. I am used to running around after the kids all day, not him and so patience is wearing thin
Hi Tall girl - dont let the gain worry you, you have learnt the technique to lose it and will lose it again no problem. You will be able to enjoy your holiday cos you are lighter than this time last year, just not at the target you wanted. I had a personal target for my birthday but didnt make it, I was annoyed but I just looked at the total I had lost and felt all chuffed with myself!!
Good Luck tonight Alyssa , Fingers crossed for me too!
Froggy - could you fill up on your meal before you went to cinema to stop you wanting to nibble, or could you bring some fruit with you. I like yogurt coated raisins and the small boxes from Asda are only 3 syns each - beware - very moreish!!0 -
go flis! I can smell the shiny leather and see the little doggy from here . . . .

Well done suggs, on what is a super weightloss - as others have said, just go with the flow and accept! Well done on the breaking of the first stone too, Flis.
I am facing a quandry at present. Unhappy in my present job I have been put forward by an agency for another but the trouble is the location. Should I get offered it, it would mean a compulsory 45-50 minute walk each way each day which would be wonderful for the weight loss but I really don't know if I could keep it up. I do actually walk to and from my present work most days which takes around 30-35 minutes but the biggest difference is that there IS a bus if I need it. Thus if I am running late/didn't sleep well/ it's pouring with rain etc I can hop on the bus for that one day. This place is not on a bus route and I don't drive, and it is over 2.5 miles away and uphill on the way there! Could cycle but I am useless on a bike and even hubby says it is a bad road for having huge artics whizz by you and leave you wobbling in their tailwinds. Only thing at the end of this road is a huge industrial estate so pleanty of lorries around. Unfortunately there is no pavement or cycle lane, just a grassy verge.
Sorry to get ahead of myselfhere - may not even get an interview - but I am trying to think what to say if offered. Does anyone have any experience of how to find out about carshare schemes where I might be able to just pay someone for my share of petrol? Just thought there must be so many cars going to ind estate as so many people must work there who live around here. Just don't know anyone personally and don't know how to find out if a scheme exists.0 -
katyk, your town council may have that sort of information for you.
flis, that's really great. You must be pleased that you're going to achieve your goal Congratulations!
suggs, I wouldn't trust those scales anymore if I were you, but at least you can be sure that you have lost a fair amount of weight, so relax and be happy!'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
4lbs for me. I chucked the diet book and did the "listen to my body" diet this week. I weighed in today at 12 stone exactly. I tried to tip the scales a bit to get into the 11 stone something, but it didn't work.:o
Haven't had time to read the other posts yet and will read them later tonight.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Maintain for me, again, this week. Thats about 3 weeks in a row now, even the weigh in lady laughs! I'm not that annoyed TBH as last week I weighed in at home as I was away for the weekend and missed SW class, according to the home scales I had gained 2lb so this weeks maintain means I have effectively lost that 2lbs - if that makes sense!!
Still, I've a bridesmaids fitting next Thursday with a very ckinny (size 6) bride so day one definately has to start tomorrow.
Well done to everyone else!0
