my friend booked these a few months ago and to be honest I wasn't that bothered cos I'm a big fan of the film and didn't think it would work on stage. but I'm really looking forward to it now. I let you know what it was like.HOW MUCH ?0 -
Hi all,
I lost 1.5 lb this week. :j Didn't get to post it yesterday as I am still busy sorting out my sons wedding that is happening this Sat. So much to do!!
I went to my daughters in Devon over the weekend so I am expecting to be up next week that combined with the wedding as well, so be gentle with me next week folks!:rotfl:
Cheers Alison.0 -
Hi Alison, well done on the loss and best wishes for your sons wedding this weekend. I hope it all goes to plan and that you have a brilliant day. Maybe the nerves and adrenalin will help you lose a bit more!0

I have eaten like a pig today. I opened a box of chocolates which I had bought as a present for whoever needed one at Christmas and I have single handedly eaten the top layer  (about 10 chocs, I had the grace to leave the ones I didnt like!) Please get a gun and shoot me, the boot will not work in this instance.
If it helps I feel suitably disgusted with myself and I now also feel sick. Day one tomorrow eh?0 -

Oh Honey, dont worry about it, we all fall off the wagon, I lost count the last few weeks how many times I was tempted and did give in.
Its one of those things, we fall off, we swear and we are that motivated we climb back on board and try try try again :j

Don't worry Suggs, you're not the one who didn't know those bags.
They remind me of ones that are made in Spain, they have a teddy bear as symbol instead. I prefer the dog.'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
Honey you need to fall off the wagon every now and then to make you see how easy it is to give in to temptation (though I think it's amazing there are chocs you don't like ). Remember the saying about success - it's isn't never failing, it's getting up again and again! So you see, you're already a success

Winston Churchill once said "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm" - I think that's a wonderful philosophy!
Suggs step away from the choccys - they're mine I tell you, mine
Good luck on the wedding front Geekgirl - let us know how it goes, and well done on the weight loss :TI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Honey, I totally know how you feel, I fell off the wagon last week and am still running along behind it without really making much effort to get back on. I couldn't even face weighing in this week and didn't bother which is a first since I ghot started. I think that because I'm back to my old acceptable weight i've subconsciously let go a bit and I'm finding it really hard to get back on track. It doesn't help that work is an absolute nightmare at the moment - we've got builders in and last week they amanged to cut our heating twice, the toilets once, the fire alarm once and the burglar once. And every time it happens the management team are offsite and uncontactable and it's muggins explaining to the nice fire chief that we're very sorry and of course we'll pay the fine . . . .
phew that feels better. does anyone want to buy me a Radley bag to make me feel even better? I am sooooo impressed at that. Well done on SOTW Suggs!0 -
Well done Suggs - that is some weightloss for a week! Well done eveyone else too who has lost. I have not been on for a while (again!) but since talking last have lost a further 4lbs in about two-and-a-bit weeks so gym is still working. Have been trying to go about twice a week although fitting it around work, homework, guides, BB's, visiting elderly parents, etc etc it does not always work.
Going for an Indian meal on Friday night - can anyone give advice on damage limitation (no, I won't just eat the side salad)?
Also need stress busters for work that are not calorie loaded - 2 person department is now down to 1 (me) and is likely to stay that way until at least xmas until they can replace my former supervisor. Doesn't help that I was the part-time half of the equation! Only help is bosses son who had not done any accounts before and has to ask things every 5 minutes! Am getting dangerously close to the chocolate-remedies!0
