Morning All
Wow oyu are all doing so well with your meals I feel so rubbish. I have not been very good and there really has not been any excuse. My main problem has once again been the booze. In Denmark where I am from they bring our special Christmas Largers at the end of Nov and I just love them. They have only had them here one year so that has been fine until this year and now I can get them in Sainsburry's. They are 5.4% so you can imagine the calories. I have been trying to stay off them but this Friday I am going home to see the family in Denmark and have two brithdays to attend. Won't see them at Christmas.
Anyway enough rambling on wanted to say I am once again 11.8 stayed the same but 1lb more than my lowest. Really must do better. Thanks all for putting up with my moan.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning,
Have weighed in and my first weeks loss is 5 1/2 lbs.
I'm really chuffed...do I pm lois lane to let her know or will she pick it up on the thread?
Anyway, I'm on the 'stop stuufing your face you fat cow' diet. So have just been trying to not eat between meals and using portion control. I have certainly felt better for it.0 -
5lb for me:j
Tallgirl - Have you worked out the calories in those lagers? Don't worry about what you have already done, just think about what you are going to do in the future:rotfl: You have done so well with your weight lose that it would be a shame to have done all that hard work for nothing.
Lois - Good luck with your quizz night. What is your team going to call itself? My Aussie sister called her quizz team Well Oiled Beef Hooked.
I know what you mean about watching for kingfishers Lois The kingfishers have been there on a walk I do all the time (and have been doing for years), but it was only when the farmer told me about them recently, that I started to watch for them. I saw 3 yesterday afternoon. Blink and you miss them.
Well done to all those who have lost weight.
MissMRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

It reminds me of something I was going to check with SW'ers on here - can you have SW chips as a healthy extra, providing you've left the skin on and weighed them? DH and I had gammon steak and chips the other night, and I had this pang of guilt about the chips.I did grilled tomatoes and courgettes with them to fill up the plate and we did enjoy it.

Hi Lois, Yes you can have around 200gms SW chips as a HEB as long as you keep the skin on for the fibre - enjoy them
Sorry I've not been around much the last couple of days. My Mum (who's nearly 80) has been taken ill and she's been in and out of hospital for various tests. I'm an only one, so I need to be available at all times. Will be back soon I hope.
Have a good week everyone.

Well first day of my diet - not sure what diet am doing - to skint to pay for slimming world! I have a lucozade addition thats got to stop (73cals per 100mls)
So far ive done very good with breakfast but am allready thinking about food.
I work till 9.30pm and when i get back am always wanting to eat and i know how bad that is! Anyone got any ideas what i could eat and that time?I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0 -
I'm doing s/w if you were to buy the magazine it would give you a good idea of the diet. but I like the mug shots there quick and easy to do if your famished and only take 5 mins. the tom & herb is free on a green day. I don't know how many cals there are though. if you go on the slimming world website there is a free 7 day taster diet for you to try.HOW MUCH ?0

I'm really sorry to hear about your Mum consultant ... I hope things get better for her (and you) soon.
I've lost 1lb this week - so only 2 to go until I make that elusive 1 and 1/2 stones lost! It's probably going to be a tough week motivation-wise but I'm really determined to get myself back in check after a few weeks of not being too committed. Today feels like a Good Day!0 -
Well I guess it had to happen.
Knee Operation + unable to move around much + eating crap = a gain of 4lb

Aw Suggs (((hugs))) - isn't it amazing how quickly weight goes back on again when we're not in control - it goes on so much quicker than it comes off. BUT don't forget that some of that 4lbs could be because of swelling, and don't forget how much you've lost so far...!
You'll get back on track once you can start going to the gym again, in the meantime you need to find something to do when you're bored so you're not eating crap.
Keep your chin up and don't let it get to you.

MissMoneyPenny thank you for the advice. I have just looked at the can (not having one) 440ml 5.6% alcohol that must be loads. Felt hungry so now eating 2 raw carrots and feeling great.
Ought to write 7 sales reports or go to the Gym but my motivation is 0 so might just continue to read MSE instead.Save £12k in 25 No 49
