    Hi Honey,

I remember you posted a recipe for rice pudding and I thought it said 2 cups of pudding rice to 2cups of water-then microwave for 12 mins. Well I did and it was hard and stodgy. Did I misread the recipe? I had enough rice to eat for 4 days!! What was the syn value of it too please?

    Thanks in advance :T

    Dihunny,

I didn't actually make that much cos I thought it sounded like loads - sorry, that was the recipe they gave out at class.

I've made it almost daily since then, in fact today I took a tupperware full of it to work for breakfast and now half the office are away home to make it :rotfl:

I use about 3/4 cup rice, about a cup and half water plus sweetner to taste, and I put it into Microwave for 5 mins. I then stir it and add some more water and then put it in for 1 min intervals after that until its done, keep stirring and check if you need more water. When its done stir in muller light - personal favourite is the banana and custard.

You probably needed to add more water just. It does go sort of stodgy when left to sit but you can re-liven it up with a little boiling water (provided you havent already added the yogurt)

I'm working on the basis that I am not eating enough and am trying to eat smaller, more regular meals. I've had 3 bowls of this rice today :D

Oh, and its free on green!

    Hi Honey,

I'll try and make less and do it the way you say. How many syns on MixandMatch?

By the way-I made some leek and potato soup and added the stock cube-it was yummy:D Thanks again for your tip.

    I wish I didn't get hungry.My problem is I'm always hungry.

    I know the feeling!!

I'm not sure really how mixandmatch works, sorry. The rice is a free food on green, and the yogurt and sweetner are free on both, does this make it free on mixy whatumicallit or do you have to count the syn value of the rice

    Hello!
Just had to tell you that I have bought a size 10 skirt!!! (And it fits!):j :j

I also have been to Tesco today to buy all of the non-perishable things for Christmas, for example, sweets, booze, crisps, nuts, pickles, freezeable stuff etc.
I have bought far less of this sort of stuff than I have in previous years - still have to buy some as I have 8 people for Xmas day and Boxing day. We seem to be eating rubbish into the New Year usually so I have made an executive decision and bought less - hopefully the majority of it will go whilst the visitors are here not leaving me with a stockpile of temptation.
    Even bought Pringles Light!

With the Jeans that is now down two sizes from my current pair :j But not size 10 Rachel :j
