    Maybe 4lb. Then that's a lb a week-ish?

Eventually I want to lose two inches of my waist, at least four off my bum and at least two of each thigh. So I also would like to try to be a quarter of the way there by the end of jan. This gives me a bit more scope for putting more weight on through exercising more which always worries me.

But I'm starting bad already though. I am so hungry at the moment. I have home made turkey soup for lunch but I don't think I can hold out that long :(!

Ok let's go for 4lb by the end of Jan then? Slow and steady wins the race apparently!! ;)

The other day I really wanted cake so I had a small white roll with some honey in. Stopped the craving for cake and has to be better for me. At work there's a big tub of maltesers in the kitchen and I'm trying so very hard to be good. :o

4lb by end of jan it is. I still have 2 boxes of chocolates left from christmas. I think my only option is to eat them all by this weekend. Work out how many calories they are, and how long running that equates to and just burn it all off with a big run on saturday and sunday. Is that a really bad idea?

God this is going to be a struggle!
  • are muller light layers free on sw?
i can't find it in the book

Yes it's a bad idea!! We ate two large boxes of maltesers at home and a large bar of chocolate because the diet started on Monday.... and because we've eaten so much sugar it's all I want - had to have chocolate spread on toast on Monday night it was so bad!!! :o

Hi Mrs Moneyspender, the muller layers are 1 1/2 syns, I posted this a few pages back :) They are loveeeelllly though, worth saving a few syns for! I think that they are only new as they aren't on the SW website yet either, I just happened to meet my consultant in Asda who had just had a text from someone in Head office to tell her.

Newlywed and cupid, why dont you join into the "lose 7lb by 5th February" challenge that we are all doing? I have no mission of making it to 7lb and really do need a kick up the bum!

Pot of syns free soup on the stove for tomorrows lunch and SW chips parboiled and ready to go into oven for tea. Came over all organised this afternoon :D

Maybe we should start a lose weight 9  thread since we have so many new members and to make it easier for everyone to read back on. What do you guys think  Shall I do the honours or does someone else want a shot at it?

Good idea Honey, this one's getting a bit unwieldy I think.

Welcome to MrsMS, Cupid & Newlywed.

ThriftyK have you thought about putting the chocs in the freezer - they're harder to get at there, but if you do succumb, they take ages to eat so one may well be enough!

I've been to Asda and stocked up on Mullerlights, Ryvita Goodness Bars and Options - all things to help me through when the sweet teeth (all 32 of them) strike. For anyone who doesn't know, Ryvita Goodness Bars can be counted as 2 for a HEB on Slimming World.

I was completely lost yesterday when the site was down for maintenance, so ended up spending money on eBay - I blamed it all on Martin :money: :rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Hi and welcome. The Layers are a new Mullerlight thingy with a layer of fruit at the bottom. They're 1½ syns each because of the extra sugar in the fruity bit I think.

BTW ThriftyK, what an excellent start to your slimming campaign, well done!
