Is everyone on a snow day today?! Been working from home, but just went out for a (slow) walk to pick up some supplies. It hasn't re-frozen yet, so not as treacherous and icy as it has been. Hope everyone is safe and warm!

Been at work most of the day but I've got the day off tomorrow as we've closed. The snow didn't seem that bad but everyone was cancelling appointments right, left and centre so it makes sense. Will be working from home tomorrow then!

Evening all. Quiet on here today. I've been at work, we have nearly 2ft of snow now. NIM and I are having a mini race tonight - ironing vs listings. He's very confident he's going to win, but since he hasn't managed more than 15 items any night before if I put my head down I intend to double that.

NIMs Tesco vouchers arrived today - so much for mum insisting she'd given them to us already! So will be booking the holiday over the weekend - very exciting. We don't have to pay the balance until 21 days before we travel, so that gives us about 10 months to clear the CC/ODs etc and then pay off the rest of the holiday, before moving on to the loan. I'm well aware I shouldn't be booking a holiday when in debt, but with £1400 of virgin vouchers in my hand it's impossible to resist the call! Will only end up spending about £700 in actual cash to have an amazing holiday.

Cunning plan is coming together nicely then ;)

DK I'd be more inclined to remove linked to expired offers rather than just mark them as expired, keeps things neater.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I have been at work. Our Christmas party was supposed to be tonight though and has moved to the 13th now. Thankfully made it home without slippping, good old wellies.

Sounds like a bargian holiday Dinah so don't blame you!

If this holiday New York Dinah? Don't blame you for booking it either!

Work has been totally manic, I'm so glad to be at home relaxing now (after my hour in the gym!). The snow has just caused so many problems and it was all left to me to sort today because all of the managers were 'working from home' ie building snowmen with their kids and checking their e-mails over the occassional cocoa break! I was ready to walk out at 11am!

Here's the picture of OH's advent calendar! :D
