  • It took to page three before we all reverted to type and started posting pics of things we want! Haha! We're such bad MSErs! Love it all. I want these boots (£140!!!) and I fancy this coat. *sigh*

Way to start a new debt-busting thread with oodles of coat !!!!!!, girls! :D

Good luck with the new challenge Dinah and NIM! Once again it's awesomely epic and beyond the grasp of most ordinary humans, but I'm looking forward to seeing you guys smash all of your targets over the next few months. Am hoping to pick up some more tips along the way too!

Blimey, you did a good job on your to-do list yesterday Dinah! Have you got a good chutney recipe? I've been out picking apples in the garden at work so I'm planning on getting stuck in this week.

Thank you for inspiring me to get my debts etc back in my signature, rather than planning to ignore everything for the rest of the year and tackling it afresh in 2011 - I'm a BAD little DFW-er :rotfl:

    ETA: Lol, Tete - ditto!

Dinah, I'm pleased too to see you back on it! Hopefully it'll inspire me to budget better as I've gone off the rails a bit :o

I'm gonna try and keep up more too! I am insanely busy though - only 8 months of uni and I'm a qualified teacher! Ahhh!

LOVE the pics of stuff people want :D I've been looking for a decent pair of boots for like 2 years and it's been hard cuz I have fat calves, so I splashed out in Duo and got these. I know they were £155 (:o) but they are lovely! Much prettier than they look in the pic, and they FIT!

Anyone watching x factor? I know I'm a week or so behind, but I love Matt's 'When Love Takes Over' cover. I have it on repeat on youtube

Hope everyone is having a good day, even though it's flippin' freezing.

It just wouldn't be right if we didn't post links to pretty things we want, that's just what we do! LOVE the red coat Tete! Before I had the blue duffle coat I had a red one and when I was in reception class I remember having to loan my red coat to someone so they could play Saint Nicholas in a school assembly! It kind of ruined the coat for me really because it was tagged the Father Christmas Coat after that!

I hope you're not easily swayed by coat/boot !!!!!! Tasha or you'll not survive the thread! ;)

  • Aw to the Father Christmas Coat Birdie! And lovely boots Zig!

Just checked the bank and I'm £37 OD - payday tomorrow so not too drastic, but I definitely need to watch myself :( Why can't my grandma just hurry up and win the lottery? :D

I've only been watching dribs and drabs of it (the problem with OH staying in more to save money, he hates X Factor and Strictly-which I love- so we have to watch movies instead and I miss all the good stuff!) I did see Matt's version of 'Hit me baby one more time' on Saturday and loved it though, I never liked him in the auditions but warming to him now! Who went last night?

  • Lol I love coat and boot !!!!!!.

It was my BF's and I 5 year anniversary a few weeks ago. He is taking me shopping for a new coat and boots (its become a tradition lol, yes I am a bit spoilt lol). So I am loving the coats so far. I really want a knee legth black coat but I am tall (5'9") and all the coats are too short, the tall sections are a bit low of coats this year. Plus I want some wedge black knee high boots................

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
