I am getting a new coat (a maternity one) for my birthday Wednesdsay from my Mum yay.
Looks like you got loads done yetserday Dinah. Bet you are excited to start the challenge today, shame the £30 cashback didn't count! That is a good idea about logging spends, i usually find it stops you buying so much as well as it is all in front of you.
I have the week off work and am off shopping with OH today to pick me a birthday present.
CMD - I love the coat is gorgeous!
Sounds like you have a lovely week planned Wendz. How are you feeling? One of my friends told me she is pregnant so that is my SIL, my sister and 2 really good friends all due to have babies before June next year. The excitement is too much!
Post up a pic of the maternity coat!
Yes - I love the coat but I tried it on at the weekend and OH wasn't too sure about the fit. I thought the fit was really good too. Oh well, one of my friends is over this week so I will get her to have a look. She is nothing if not honest!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That is exciting CMD, lots of playmates for Max. My friend who had her little one at the same time as you had Max is so excited about me being pregnant.0 -
Happy new thread! 3 pages already! Nice to see you back on the money making debt busting wagon, I'm hoping you'll inspire me!
Don't worry too much about the budgets Cinny, when we moved in it was looking ropey on paper and I was beside myself thinking that we'd be living on beans and nothing else, but things work themselves out!
It was blinkin' freezing this morning, and we still can't get the heating to work! I told OH about not being able to turn it on, he mocked me, pressed the same buttons that I did... and nothing happened! I'm not happy that it's still a mystery as to how to get warm, but happy that its not just me being stupid! I'm sure we're just missing something but not sure what! Will have to ask his boiler genius friend to come round and sort it for us!
Love the coat CMD, very you! I want this one! I had one just like it when I was littleI want to ask for it for Christmas but since we're on such a strict budget this year it'll be the only present from my whole family so I'm being quite sensible and saying that my 3 year old coat is quite fine and I don't need a new one... but it makes me sad! I'm finding picking presents for christmas this year really hard, everything I see and like I have to weigh up if it's worth getting since it'll only be one of a few presents and end up scrapping the idea, I'll end up asking for nothing at this rate!
As for the whole NIM/Poolie getting all manly business... I'm fairly sure it's just an act, they're probably more inclined to take a bath and have a face mask than the rest of us!:rotfl:

How come when Poolie and NIM get together it's all "Grr!" and manliness? I'm sure they're in touch with their feminine sides really and are just trying to assert themselves amongst all us girls!
ETA - A materity coat Wendz! Bet they're hard to come by, perhaps not in London though. You could use it for shoplifting once the baby's born!
Thanks Tete. I also want this dress:

Very nice. I got a similar one from New Look last year
Yes - lots of playmates for Max whenever we do manage to move to Ireland!
I think once you have a baby yourself you get insanely excited when you hear of others having them. They just bring so much joy into your life so its nice to hear of others experiencing the same thing. Ahh - I've gone all mushy!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Sorry Birdie. I can't help myself! I tried on the dress on saturday and it was lovely. OH loved it. Would like to get a red belt to put around it so I could liven it up a bit. Have gorgeous red kitten heels that would suit it so much. Oh to have money ...........
It's not fair - this is the first time I have been this size since before I got married and I have never been so broke. I want to be a yummy mummy!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
