  • Hello! Happy new thread! Nice to have you back in debt-busting form (not nice that you're in debt - you know what I mean!), I do love a good list and seeing the amounts go down. Feeling pretty skint at the mo myself (hence joining the NSD challenge etc) and though I'm not in debt, I'll look forward to seeing your inspirational money-making tactics! Like the idea of you competing too - adds a bit of spice :D

Good luck with the application NIM!

Hope everyone's well today - brrr, had to defrost the car for the first time :(

I am getting a new coat (a maternity one) for my birthday Wednesdsay from my Mum yay.

Looks like you got loads done yetserday Dinah. Bet you are excited to start the challenge today, shame the £30 cashback didn't count! That is a good idea about logging spends, i usually find it stops you buying so much as well as it is all in front of you.

I have the week off work and am off shopping with OH today to pick me a birthday present.

CMD - I love the coat is gorgeous!

It's gorgeous CMD! Love the bow on the back!

How come when Poolie and NIM get together it's all "Grr!" and manliness? I'm sure they're in touch with their feminine sides really and are just trying to assert themselves amongst all us girls!

ETA - A materity coat Wendz! Bet they're hard to come by, perhaps not in London though. You could use it for shoplifting once the baby's born! :D

Wendz the £30 has been allowed to count as it won't touch the bank account till some point during the challenge. Dinah is giving NIM the potential rise in his salary.

Sorry to anybody who works in HR departments but MY HR DEPARTMENT - HURRAY THE HELL UP (Please)!!
  • Hey all,

I have been following your threads on and off for a while now (followed Swinstie from our Blondie thread). Could I please join in with your debt busting, might sound a bit cheesy but you are pretty inpirational to me as you had teh same amount of debt I have and I have been supossed to be clearing it for the last year!!!!!!! I have not been getting very far.

My Debt totals are as follows:

    Natwest CC - £2020.44
    Barclay CC - £1694.53
Lloyds TSB Loan - £6986.47 (28 payments left).

    Total: £16180.13

I have started to ebay a lot more now, Im going to look at amazon as I have LOADS of books at home.
