NIM I think she should get the £30 towards the race as Dinahs organised the Boiler Cover and you didnt!!

    I like you!

And he's just agreed that the rules are money that gets to the account/paid off the debt between each 25th-25th period therefore when this gets paid (in Feb sometime I reakon!) it will count for my total that month :D

@gothrickchic I dislike people helping her beat me, but as was said by the great James Hetfield, "what dont kill ya make ya more strong"
So this'll just make me more strong, now lets see who gets the quote shall we?

Oooh, hello new thread :D I won't disappear on you this time!

Sounds like a really good challenge. Although I have to agree with the others, that £30 should be counted in Dinahs total! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you both on getting it all cleared.

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend though! I'd like to put in for a 'no-money' club membership too. Was having a little panic today about how tight money might be month to month when we were ikea-ing it, so when we got back OH decided to try and put my mind to rest by doing a budget with our lowest possible wages and it just made it worse :rotfl: We'd have about £3 left after bills, food and petrol. But it's living together that's the important thing, right?

ETA: Hahah, just seen your icon NIM. Very fitting!

Wish me luck everyone, I've just submitted an application to the company I last interviewed with without my 40% additional price tag by going through a recruitment agency. Awesome benefits and they actually pay slightly above the industry average which is awesome. Can I count a raise twords my total? :P

I'd actually say yes - but only the 'extra' - if it all goes on running a car then no, but if you can put an extra £100 a month towards clearing the debt then aye I'll give you that. So long as you don't deduct £130 a month when I loose my essential car user allowance in March!

I've done as much as is humanly possible! I've never stopped today, but the list still isn't clear.

    • Look into irish holiday cottages/narrowboats for Tesco vouchers
    • [STRIKE]Check bank accounts[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Make bread and butter pudding[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Find preserves book[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Make chutney for christmas presents[/STRIKE]
    • Write thank you cards not already done
    • [STRIKE]Call house of fraser, find out why our wedding presents STILL haven't been sent (8 weeks after the wedding is a bit much!)[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]List car[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check MSE regarding if I can relist items free on ebay this weekend[/STRIKE]

    • Draw up weekly shopping list for the month
    • Put Tesco orders in for the month to get cheap slots
    • Find some kind of healthy recipe for something to do with all the passionfruits.

    • [STRIKE]Upload meter readings to Scottish Power[/STRIKE]
Will do some more tomorrow but for now I'm off to straighten my hair and go to bed - I'm on the train to work all week as dad's on holiday, and this means leaving the house at 7:05 :( NIM is getting a hair cut after work tomorrow and depending on when he's finished won't be home until 8-9ish as there are no trains or buses, so I'll probably do the meal planning then.

I'm planning to log all spends this month. I have a seperate food budget, but we have £395 'other' spends every month - so I need to see where this goes. Usually I spend it online, but this month I want to try really hard to stick to it - not going to get off to the best start though - NIM needs a hair cut tomorrow and I need to order a light for the hall as at the moment there are just bare wires (not even connected to a bulb!) and it's a bit dicey coming in after dark.

Race starts tomorrow - quite excited actually!
