Just so everyone knows I'm still alive and to let you all see I finally found an appropriate avatar for myself.
Also hi everyone, sorry I've not been around but work has been interesting of late and I've been too tired for much else.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Dinah for boiler cover check out british gas as they do have a 24x7 helpline. Also, when you have been with them 2 years they give you a discount if you have no call outs. Also you can the central heating (including radiators) covered with the Boiler on the 200 option.

For £17.00 per month for no excess if something goes wrong and an annual service is the option we have.

Done it through British Gas, thanks Poolie.

Been on my feet stooped peeling apples for chutney for the last 2 hours - I'm stiff as a board!

Very embarrassing time today, had to go to B&G to get some finishing plaster, rawl plugs, 4 lengths of wood and a tin of paint - all boring stuff but needed as dad has taken tomorrow off to work on the house. And it came to £66. And there was only £47 in the account. So we had to pay £47 on the card, £11 in cash and the remainder on another card. I'm done with being this skint!

I know that feeling well :o its not good is it.

We are literally scraping every penny together at the minute, as you can see from the sig we are back in debt - mainly due to me losing a rediculous amount of hours at work, partly due to the car giving up on life and OH needing another one for work.
