Make sure you add 'resourcefullness' to your CV there Birdie
Hehe...or 'downright sneakiness'!
I got quite excited when I saw that this week was guilty pleasures, thought I was bound to hear a bit of Mcfly...but no, appparently Girls Aloud counts as guilty pleasure instead, wonder how Cheryl felt about that!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I just love all of X Factor - it makes me get all excited on a Saturday night
Ladies - I am having a bit of a life crisis/dilemma at the moment and am not sure what to do with regards where we are going to live. Would be grateful if you could have a look at my thread (don't want to take over yours Dinah) and give some advice/suggestions

Wendz the £30 has been allowed to count as it won't touch the bank account till some point during the challenge. Dinah is giving NIM the potential rise in his salary.
Now THIS idea I like.tasha-debt wrote: »Hey all,
I have been following your threads on and off for a while now (followed Swinstie from our Blondie thread). Could I please join in with your debt busting, might sound a bit cheesy but you are pretty inpirational to me as you had teh same amount of debt I have and I have been supossed to be clearing it for the last year!!!!!!! I have not been getting very far.
My Debt totals are as follows:
Lloyds TSB CC - £5476.13
Natwest CC - £2020.44
Barclay CC - £1694.53
Lloyds TSB Loan - £6986.47 (28 payments left).

Tasha, the more the merrier, but there is an entry fee, one bottle of good whiskey for us to get to know you over:D
Some good news already...I think. The guy I emailed is on his holliers this week, but one of the 2 founders (The one who interviewed me) responded instead and said they would be in touch once he gets back.:j:j:j:j
I dont wanna get excited too soon but this could be very VERY good *does the mini happy dance*This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Well I've had my two-penneth (however you spell it) CMD!
Fingers crossed for you NIM!
How about a baking dilemma for you?
I'm off to the Lakes next week with the girls, there are four of us and we're there for four nights so we're doing Come Dine With Me. I need something quick and easy for dessert - something along the lines of a chocolate mousse - but they all contain raw eggs and one of the girls is pregnant ... any ideas???Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

And good advice it is too Tete!
I am a sucker for the retro desserts and my fave is sherry trifle (and yes I had it when I was pregnant last year!). My Mum makes it just for me every XmasTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

To me theres no contest.
Friends can be made anywhere and scotland has some lovely areas too. Winters suck in england too, in scotland you can get away with wearing a ski-suit, The 3 days a week will be taken up doing your research, and after that you have time to take up a new hobby.
If I let a long haul move scare me I'd be a bachelor living in his dads flat with no job and weighing about 18 stone.
Its short term pain leading to long term benefit, but others may disagree with me on that.
Thanks NIM!
I would love to have 5 days with Max and 2 days working. It would be prefect.
I'm not wary of moving its just that we seem to do a lot of it. Moved from Scotland to Sussex in 2007 and then Sussex to Berkshire in 2009, and now another potential move before finally settling in Ireland. Just seems a lot

BTW I work from home so if I do move the job moves with me. There's a few in Up Your Income -(I found mine on here three years ago) Money isn't great but when you add in no work clothes, fares, lunches out , birthday collections etc etc it isn't too bad. I get regular bonuses and discount off my TV services too. I use all those hours saved waiting for buses mystery shopping insteadI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
