Hi Zig! Long time, no see! Hope you're not working too hard :D nice boots!

Hey! I'm working waaay too hard, just not today :D Need to plan my meals for the week but it's not really happening.. I know I'll plan them then OH will go 'no, don't like/fancy that' and ruin my plans! How's the diet going?! It's been so long that I've still got your challenge in my sig! :o

I really like Matt! How annoying that your OH doesn't like either Birdie! Although, OH doesn't either, I just ignore him. He plays on his phone while I watch them. I'm such a considerate girlfriend. John went last night! I thought One Direction should have gone, but only cuz they annoy me.
Why can't my grandma just hurry up and win the lottery? :D
I agree! Not to your grandma winning the lottery lol, I need mine to win! Or me. Or me and your grandma. Argh! You know what I mean! :p

Lol I love coat and boot !!!!!!.

It was my BF's and I 5 year anniversary a few weeks ago. He is taking me shopping for a new coat and boots (its become a tradition lol, yes I am a bit spoilt lol). So I am loving the coats so far. I really want a knee legth black coat but I am tall (5'9") and all the coats are too short, the tall sections are a bit low of coats this year. Plus I want some wedge black knee high boots................

Yeah I'm about six foot - don't you find they always put really STUPID thngs in the tall sections? Like vests, and shorts, and horrible harem pants? When what you really want is a maxi dress, a nice pair of black trousers for work and a winter coat with sleeves that cover your wrists!!! (*steps off soapbox*)

I don't put it on myself but she does and always says "£5 million? That's too much!" she only wants £10k and would share the rest between me and about 3 other people :D

Oh gee, stop it with the coats. They're all so pretty! I'm just going to beef up my autumn jacket (because pennies are tight / I loves it so!) just need gloves, maybe some earmuffs and I can do layers underneath. And hopefully I'll be snug! *crosses fingers* If not I'll put a nice coat on my Christmas list. My Sister has completely gone in with the faux fur trend, she's got a massive fluffy coat and one of those russian hats. She looks annoying fantastic in them though, I'd look like a right dorf if I put them on!

It is so cold though, was -2 when I left the house this morning and I'd stupidly left my coat at work last week so was double brrr and now I can't get warm in the Office. My toes are cold!

Birdie - My OH keeps saying the same thing about the money, I really should listen to him as he's normally right but I'm a worrier. Feels like everything is coming together nicely though, got loads of stuff sorted this weekend and tonight I've got a list of stuff to order. Although the total makes my belly flip!

Dinah - Hopefully we'll have the keys next Monday and can start moving our stuff in. My Mum has been lovely and said once we start paying rent on the house I don't need to pay her my keep anymore which'll be a great help. But as soon as the carpets are down we're moving in :D

Welcome to the thread Tasha! :D Good luck with your debt too, and I hope you find a coat! x

Zig - I've become a little addicted to watching XFactor and twittering with the masses about it! I'm not overly keen on anyone this year though, I can't find my 'Jedward' :( I'm not keen on that Matt though, I didn't like him singing 'Just The Way You Are' Sontard did a better job tbh! :o

ETA: I forgot to say. OHs dog went into labour this morning :D I'm sat here waiting for news but it's a slow labour.
  • Lovely boots Zig.

You must be getting so excited about moving Cinny :)

I love X Factor and think they are particularly talented this year. My favourite (from the start) has been Matt and I would like him to win because he takes risks & is a brill singer. I also love Mary and Rebecca.

PIctures please, soon as you can! :D Hope all goes well! Exciting about the house move being so soon!
I also love Mary and Rebecca.

Is Rebecca the girl from Liverpool? She looked veru Audrey-esque at the first audition and sings a bit like Billie Holliday? I love her but I don't think her voice is very versatile...

(OH is distraught that we've ended up watching it every Saturday now we live together - it's worse in his eyes than pipe and slippers! But there's nothing else on!!)

Awww I want to see pictures of the new puppies too (when they arrive)! Puppies are #2 on my list of things that make me all gooey (#1 being babies of course!).

Is anyone else a little disappointed with the X Factor 'themes' this year? They're so...open! Where's ABBA week?! I like the fact that they used to make them sing different styles every week to show their versatility but now they just sing what they want every week and I can see it getting quite samey after a few more shows!

ETA: Had a break in the great CV hunt! Waited for the HR lady to go on her lunch and 'broke into' the filing cabinet with my file in (when I say broke into it I mean I just opened it!) and photocopied an old CV from 2 jobs ago so at least I have the bare bones to work from! Yay! Hopefully this afternoon will be quieter than the morning has been and I can work on it!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Bless your grandma Tete! My Nan says the same thing, although she wants a bit more - £50k, enough to pay the mortgage off!

I'm so excited for you Cinny, good that you're near your family too :)

Yep Rebecca is the girl from Liverpool. I like her, but yeah, her voice isn't versatile. Cher and Katie irritate me, and I have a [STRIKE]huge[/STRIKE] bit of a crush on Aiden and Matt :smileyhea :o

The x factor themes are bullcarp! It was flippin' heroes week last week - Duck Sauce?! They're a brand new flippin' band! Argh! And guilty pleasures - since when has Led Zep been a guilty pleasure?! Makes me mad! Stick to the theme!! *and breathe* :D

  • I didn't even realise they HAD themes!

Make sure you add 'resourcefullness' to your CV there Birdie ;)

OMG that is it exacley, I want a coat were the arms reach my knuckles and that the waist section sits on my waist. I want jumpers and trousers that fit me. I live in long vest tops under my clothes as I dont want the top to roll up a bit and my belly pop out lol
    x

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
