Saw the tight friend on Saturday and she asked if we're going to her BBQ, I told her that we couldn't afford it and she was a bit surprised and said, 'But we're not going out', 'Ah yes but we can't afford to buy all of the beer, wine and meat expected of us so we're just going to give it a miss'
She later said that if we want to come and not bring anything that'll be fine but I told her that 'I couldn't just turn up to a party empty handed, how rude!!!' Teehee
Good girl Birdie, now next time it happens really stick it to her.Dinah, how did tapas with your brother and his girlfriend go?
I thought it went quite well, other than introducing the GF to the horror that is the story of my mother.I'm a real grump, I don't like it this hot! With being a red head I burn so easily no matter how high a factor sunscreen I put on
Irish trumps redhead Cinny. I burn in the shade with factor 50 on...I feel really sorry for my red headed irish friends mind. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Glad the tapas went well, the GF must feel truly inducted now that she's heard the Tale Of Mammy!
I like it hot, but it was mental yesterday! OH came home from work at 6 and wanted to be out in the sun (after I'd spent the afternoon in the garden and was quite sunned-out thank you very much!) we went out for a wander and after about 3 minutes we were both dragging our feet and moaning that it was just too darn hot! I don't envy our pregnant girls right now!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'm with you on this one! I usually love the sun, but being 26 weeks pregnant in this heat is not fun at all!!
It's funny - I am so so pale and when we were in Portugal last week (and temps were up to 38C) everyone kept saying to me that I must be suffering in the sun. Once I could stay in the shade I loved the heat though. It was smashing!!!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Kind of you CMD and tbh I'm not exactly Dracula pale, but dear god do I burn. As I say I still have lines from the burn I got on honeymoon. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Your skin must be really sensitive and mine must be like an old boot cos I am way paler than you!
Sounds like a lovely weekend Wendz. I think you can buy baby shade things in ELC or Argos so you can lie in the sun and baby will be shaded. Make the most of sunbathing with a young baby cos when they get mobile you won't get a minute!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

My OH only has to look out the window at the sun and he looks like a lobster :rotfl: poor thing. He slaps on factor 50 and it does nothing for him, he suffers terribly in the heat, I think hes secretly pleased that we cant go abroad this year :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
