Morning, just popped on while I have my porridge! Thanks for all your good wishes, I'm really nervous but also really excited now too, that'll probably all change about ten minutes in to Ben Nevis, with the hail teeming down! I took some pics of all my kit and food last night, just for fun, am gonna need that massage on Monday carrying all that on my back!

Good luck Tete, weather seems ok for now, well in Central Scotland anyway.

Was at the Take That concert last night, it was fabulous! It was very heavy rain on the Wednesday night but clear skies and even some sun last night, woo hoo. My friend got to touch Robbie's hand when he came round on a platform, he was so close you could see the sweat (yuk) on his forehead.

Where were you in Portugal CMD? I've been to Albuferia and Villamoura, loved both.

Morning all. In a great mood today, day off work to spend on the business, doing tapas for brother and his gf this evening, 3 day 'weekend' (it feels like a treat to have time on the business and at home rather than the commute), and I just picked up loads and loads of MSs for the airport a week today when we go to Ireland, about £40 in fees but also lots of drinks, food etc so we don't have to buy anything on board. And it means I get my usual glass of champagne before flying!

We were in Alvor Poddle. It is a beuatiful fishing village. The people are so polite and friendly over there. We have already been researching the silver coast there for a holiday next year or the year after. I had been to Portugal before, but only on a package deal so it was nice to see the 'real' side of it!!!

Looks like the weather this weekend is good, well down here it is anyway. We are down to southampton again sat to sunday. Hopefully can get out in the sunshine. Anyone else doing anything nice?

Sounds like you've got a great long weekend lined up Dinah! I'll have to remember to look out for airport MS when we go away, fancy a pre-flight glass of champers! Especially as our flight will be a nightmare, I just know it! Stupid Thomas Cook getting rid of premium cabins.
