We set off at about 11 tomorrow morning, start off up Ben Nevis about 5pm. No actually, I had to put a holiday in for Friday and Monday when I'm off for a massage - that's a bit tight isn't it?!

It is a bit! My workplace would be the same though I suppose. It's good that you'll have Monday off too though, sounds like a massage will be well needed!

In a couple of weeks work are throwing a big party with carnival games and a band to celebrate their 40th anniversary of being in the city but it's on a Friday night so everyone on OH's shift can't go (good planning there BigWigs!) and they said that some of the lads may be able to go... if they work on Saturday morning to make up for it! So tight. Some of the people OH works with have been with the company 40 years and this is the first free thing they've ever been offered, and they can't go! Makes me mad, not to mention that I'm going to have to go on my own now. Next time the Sexy MD is up here I shall be telling him what I think of it!

Lara - I wouldn't worry too much, the rush of things leading up to the wedding might make you lose a couple of lbs anyway.

WE have a massive new york picture in our living room (from ikea haha) and also some smaller new york ones too. I have been but OH hasn't. I am starting to realise that i slightly take over with the pictures and things! OH did choose the new york one though.

How exciting Tete! Hope it all goes well for you.

My company give you a half day a year to do something for charity which is quite nice.

That's really good of your company Wendz, they are good to you!

I think girls naturally take over when it comes to any decoration, if it was left to OH there'd be nothing pretty in the flat, the only things he'd have would be useful, so no cushions, candles, pictures, fancy bowls... he'd have a sofa and a TV! Oh, and the rugby head!!! :rotfl:

Depends on the bloke. Our house would have nothing decorative but there would be tools and clutter everywhere because it's 'useful'. I'm gearing up to brave NIMs study at the weekend to sort out the filing, if you don't hear from me by Monday ladies, send in a search party (tied to one another with a long rope).

Btw does anyone know how to find a pet sitter or similar? Someone who comes to your house each day and plays with your moggie and feeds it? I don't want to put ours in a cattery while we're in France, she loves attention far too much and as she's a house cat it won't be any different for her so long as someone is there to give her a bit of attention.

To be fair it was our study when it got to looking like that. :p
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I know they are very good at looking after people. Speaking of which i really need to arrange to go in and visit, my manager said they would treat me to lunch bless her. Really want to see her bump as well as she was only a few weeks pregnant when i left.

Dinah - we found a cat lady advertised in the window of a local shop. She has been great - much better than using a cattery. I think we pay £7 per day.
