I'd rather look at it than my own ugly mug! Maybe this is a confidence thing?!
Hmmm perhaps. We've got some 'art' (mass produced!) about but prefer to look at pictures that tell our story, and OH and I aren't really low on confidence, OH especially! We like having reminders of us on our 'good' days to boost us when we're looking like slobs, which is becoming more and more regular! :rotfl:You should at least have some wedding and honeymoon photos about to remind you of the happiest days of your lives together!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Think I might have to pull out of the Shrallenge down to my ankle, I think I twisted it yesterday evening but no idea how or when, it just suddenly hurt. Got a compression bandage on it now but its not great. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

(seriously, colleagues shouldn't yell at each other, what a d!ck)
Sorry you're having a bad day Dinah, I second the above. what a d!ck.
And I concur. I like it when people have a few photos up - obviously doing amazing things and looking at their best. Those giant canvases most definitely are creepy (especially when you can see the family posed in the background and an errant toddler has charged gleefully towards the camera and takes up most of the image - that's not cute to me )
Having said that, we've got no photos up at the moment - just haven't got around to it. After 3 years in the flat...Maybe that's a weekend project

All our art is hand painted, and a lot of it does tell a story to us as we remember where we got it or who gave us it so I guess that's our story in a way. Very oddly I don't think of our wedding as our happiest day - it seemed to pass in a blur and while it was fantastic, my happiest memories are the daft little every day things no one else sees. Can't frame them though!Think I might have to pull out of the Shrallenge down to my ankle, I think I twisted it yesterday evening but no idea how or when, it just suddenly hurt. She's too modest, some of the hand painted art we have is her own original work which I'm too useless / scatty to remember to hang. She did me a series of paintings each with a link to a particular event which I thought was really sweet and they are my most cherished possession.12 days till we're due to start, you'll be fine.
