Ooooh I'm still so excited for you Cinny! :D

LOL@ Dinah spending the night entering comps! I'll have to check to see if I won anything on the lottery last night, can't check until lunchtime as I can't get on the site, I could be a millionnaire and not know it! ;) Doubtful, but someone's got to win!

The only 'luck' I came into last night was finding a pair of shoes I'd forgotten about, so I'm wearing them today! Had a right good clearout of clothes and shoes, got 2 bags full to be charity shopped (proper old junk so not worth ebaying, and I like to donate something to charity since I can't give them much money!). Still got more to sort out which I'm itching to do but I've got people round tonight and tomorrow so it'll have to wait, then I'll lose my mojo and it'll never get finished! :o

I don't know Tete, these so called 'internet friends' maccing on our luck. ;)

Finding a pair of shoes you'd forgotten about is always pretty fab Birdie! I was tidying a cupboard yesterday and found a tin of new biscuits from Christmas and got all giddy! I even ran through to tell Barry the fish :D Good luck with getting the rest of it sorted, I'll badger you about it so there's no way you'll forget!

I'm sure Barry was just thrilled to hear about the biccies! :)

Think we're getting fish soon, I miss having them around. When we moved we left our tank with OH's brother in his old place and we were going to pick them up once we'd got the flat sorted out and a space set aside but OH felt guilty as his bro got really attached to them really quickly, he's an odd, lonely little man and OH was worried what taking away his new friends would do to him! I'm not too impressed though as I paid for the tank and the table it's sitting on and I'm never going to get them back, not to mention my beloved fishies! :(

Please do badger me about the sorting, OH will do it but it's just white noise when he starts moaning about things that need doing... like the teacher on Snoopy!

Wow congratulations Cinny! I think keeping the car is a good idea as you don't get the chance often to own a car like that!

Well done on the picture too Tete, is really beautiful and you deserved to win.

Flower - bottles are useful so is a great win too.

No wins here... not much exciting planned today. Really need to do a bit of housework.

I still can't believe you won a mini, Cinny! (ooh it rhymes as well!) it's bonkers! When do you get your sticky mitts on it?

Bravo on the clear out, Birdie! It's very satisfying, but I totally know what you mean about getting waylaid. It's surprising how much cash they can make from your old junk. We're registered for gift aid with our local charity shop and they sent us a letter recently saying that they'd sold our stuff for about £85. I didn't think we'd given them loads, but it's a bit creepy that everything's itemised so I've got to be careful what I shove in the bag now I know they can trace it back to me! :rotfl:

We saw our second potential wedding photographer last night. It's SO difficult making a decision - we saw one on Sunday and thought he was "the one" and now we think this one is "the one"! Should we carry on looking?!

Ha ha, congrats on your win too Flower! It's the luckiest thread on MSE! :money: Wow, I wish I had spent the evening finding comps. I didn't even buy a lottery ticket...

Poddle where are you based? I wasnt deighted when our wedding photographers altered their offering shortly before the wedding but they were fantastic on they day and really produced the goods.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I wouldn't recommend my friend's photographer, the pictures are dreadful! She seems happy but I don't know if she's just convincing herself that everything is perfect IYKWIM?! Why do people think that buying a flash camera and taking photos on a wonk makes them a good photographer? I feel like sending the guy a link to some good photography blogs and suggesting he takes some notes!

I got a letter from Scope saying that they'd made £35 from my last offerings, it's nice but a bit creepy like you say Poddle!
