    Whats a Green Eyed Monster?!

I've been drinking plenty of milk recently, I know for me the bp is very much a stress thing.

    What's a Green Monster???

Sounds like the cleaning is going well already Cinny! Saturday's gig sounds like a nice easy one! :)

I've got no freakin' clue about tax credits and such like, I just want people to give me money without having to work it out myself!

Cinny, I was all for having drugs in childbirth but I've changed my mind now. My friend is currently on her first nursing placement and has watched a few epidurals (not on women in labour though) and she said that the needle is massive and looks awful going into the spine... it's making me feel all queasy! _pale_

Your Slovenia trip sounds proper hardcore CMD! The most I ever did was the bronze DofE!

Believe me Birdie by the time you have been through a few hours of labour a giant needle in the back is the best thing ever lol.

It's a smoothie made from spinach, milk, bananas and ice. Some people add flax, blueberries, pineapple, cinnamon. Lots of recipes here. I have no doubt the BP is down to stress, I just thought, maybe greenly (hoho!), that adding some extra blood pressure helping foods to your diet might help lower it?

Green monster does sound pretty gross, but I made them last time I did the 30DS. I only made the basic one, so maybe Zig knows more! They're good! I'd either have a green monster or a fruit smoothie post shred. A pint of water before hand though, even more so if I was doing it first thing as I'd die half way through otherwise!

The idea of epidurals used to freak me a little until I watched The Shaytards (I mention them a lot, huh?) 'the babys here' video. They just look like relief! Although I don't know how I'd feel about my birthing video being watched 2,000,000+ times

Yes it did take a year Dinah so def tricky to plan. Think we would start trying when Poppy is 3.

That is rubbish about the tax credits but at least you will get to spend more time with the children! When i did a test didn't look like we were entitled to anything, should check though really. Maybe is because i am 24 then hmm??

Sounds like a good plan about Ireland, sounds frustrating waiting!

Dinah - The reason we would have got so much was because we would have had 2 children in childcare and tax credits would have paid for 1 of them. Now we get nothing.

I would quite like to be a SAHM if I were to live in Ireland but not if I was living here. It is too hard without family support.

The contract idea would bring in great money but we would only see OH at weekends :( That would just be until he got a job in Ireland and if he had a break in contracts we would see him all the time!

Lol - totally agree with that!

Having said that, I am hoping to go au natural this time! Last time I got to 9cm but then Max got stuck so after 4-5 hours of being stuck at 9cm and him not budging the epidural was a life saver!

I'd never heard of a Green Monster before now! So, it's for energy...? I might try it :p

Cinny, that sounds like a sweet cleaning job! Is it all going well so far?

I have absolutely no idea how tax credits works, I was just suprised you could get so much in one month tbh as I thought it was a really small ammount.

Is anyone a closet maths geek? I'm trying to work out a probability and its driving me mad. I'm wondering if it's binomial probability I need to use ie if something has a 1 in 5 chance of occuring you use the 4 in 5 chance of not occuring to calculate the chance ie if there is a 20% chance of getting stuck in traffic on any given day, what is the probability over 3 days I would get stuck in traffic? NIM thinks its about 0.35 but I think its 0.512 (0.8x0.8x0.8)... would anyone like to answer my brain teaser of the day and stop me going mad?!

Your almost there love, I was wrong its actually 1-(0.8*0.8*0.8...) to calculate it, so 0.488 I believe.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
