As long as it breaks after 4.45 I don't mind! Don't fancy walking home in a thunderstorm!
Mum and Dad are back from Miami today... which means presents!!! I really hope they've remembered to buy OH something this time, completely forgot about him last time they went away and got me really nice Abercrombie bits, I felt terrible!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Is supposed to be heavy rain here rest of the day, does look cloudy.0

£600 a month in tax credits?! That's huge! I did an imaginary scenario of if NIM was a year older and we had a 1 year old (it looks like you can't get tax credits if under 25)
You can get Tax Credits if one of you is over 25. We get it because OH is over 25 but I am only 22 - obviously depends on your income etc though!
Tax Credits is the most confusing thing, I dont really understand it, just fill in the forms, tell them what they want to know and then we get money. Really couldnt manage without it!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
You lot have been talking ten to the dozen today, must be the heat! I went for my massage, it was really painful and she said she was being really gentle
My back feels a lot better but my legs are still stiff as anything and my feet have enormous blisters on, I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow because I can't wear proper shoes!
Is anyone a closet maths geek? I'm trying to work out a probability and its driving me mad. I'm wondering if it's binomial probability I need to use ie if something has a 1 in 5 chance of occuring you use the 4 in 5 chance of not occuring to calculate the chance ie if there is a 20% chance of getting stuck in traffic on any given day, what is the probability over 3 days I would get stuck in traffic? NIM thinks its about 0.35 but I think its 0.512 (0.8x0.8x0.8)... would anyone like to answer my brain teaser of the day and stop me going mad?!
Is it not just 20%? If getting stuck on day 1 has no bearing on whether or not you'll get stuck on day 2 then the odds don't change ...?
Birdie glad you got a sly dig inKeep on at it, she'll get the hint!
The Shred DVD has arrived, I haven't dared watch any of it yet though. Stairs are enough of a challenge for me at the moment!!
Can't remember what anyone else said, it's all a blur of childbirth  (Oh I'm getting another 'nephew' - found out today!)
Hope everyone's well! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Wow all!! Sorry I havent posted for ages
I've not been on and only just had a bit of a catch up!
Tete - well done you're really a superstar! I'm super proud of you and hope you are of yourself! DoE nearly killed me and I climbed Snowden once and that was pretty tough at a leisurely pace! Congratulations to everyone who did it and I'm jealous of you if you have workmates who are all that well gelled!!
Cinny! - I am so super jealous!! well done you!!! I can't believe it but you know it feels good to find out that real people actually win these things! Have you decided on the cash or the car yet? I've actually got a mini and I love it! It's amazing but its expensive to run (petrol 39mpg if i drive like a granny on long journys and everytime something breaks add a 0 on the end of all normal car costs because it's a BMW) but it is an amazing car! If you're not sure and you are offered the cash, howabout buying yourself a cheaper 2 year old mini (and I reccomend a diesel one!) and saving the rest? I know it'll be a brand new car but tbh, it's still pretty cool at (are you 20?) to be driving a 2 year old mini!!
Dinah - I look forward to hearing more about the launch of your business!! It all sounds very exciting and I hope your twitter is drumming up some good excitement for it! I still dont think I fully understand what the business is but it is very exciting!! Also I'm glad that the tapas went ok - can't believe it cost you £60 though!!?
Flower - I am feeling for you in the heat I hope you're ok!
Wendz - glad poppy got some sleep but it's a shame you can't get out in the sun! I'm manic at work at the moment so I'm sat indoors while the sun was out for th most of yesterday which was a bit annoying but I can't see my screen if it's too sunny!
Zig - What's a green monster!?!
CMD - hows the bump?
Everyone else, I dont mean to leave you out, I just dont have anything specific to say!
nothing much to update about me really... I have just been trying to get this piece of work finished and it's taking over me! being out of the house too much and not being online though has made me go a bit spendy which is a shame! I need to get my online banking on track and stop with so many treats and convenience foods etcI just got paid today though so I'm going to start a new spending diary I think if I get chance. Spent £5.53 already today though on food I could probably have bought from home
and I thought I was being good resisting the vending machine earlier!!

Hope your poor legs and feet are feeling a bit better today Tete! Happy news about getting a 'nephew', when's he due? I keep saying it but I really wish my friends would start making babies!
Nice to hear from you Tink! Are you going to join The Shrallenge?!
Mr Tight sent a text to OH last night about the BBQ so he told him that he needs to speak to his wife more as I'd told her we weren't going, got a proper ar5ey reply about it 'hardly breaking the bank to buy some beers and meat' Jeepers they annoy me! They know that some of our friends won't go if we don't go which is why they're pushing for us to be there. OH summed it up quite nicely last night, they don't care that much about us but they care about having our friends as we're the link, without us they don't have the group! Nice to be used like that!
I've also been informed that our rugby club is hosting a 7's tournament in July and clubs from all over will be coming to play and I'm required to go along as a supporter and 'WAG it up!' :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
If it's hardly breaking the bank why do they make their "friends" bring it for them?! You shouldn't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do.
I don't really have any friends at the babymaking stage either Birdie - guess we could be looking at doing some playdates up and down the A19 in a few years time. That said I'm sure you'll meet some new mums when your LO comes along at baby and toddler groups and that kind of thing.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I would respond to Mr Tight in one of two ways, possibly send both.
1:- If its hardly breaking the bank why don't you supply at your BBQ's like everyone else does at theirs?
2:- Well to be fair its nicer than telling your wife we know your using us as a link to our mates and we'd rather just not go, but felt this was a nicer way to put it tighta$$.
Seriously Birdie, this mog winds me up no end and I dont even know the guy. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Sweet Mercy!! If I were you I'd text them back re the beer and meat cost and just put 'Really? Reallly?' Fricks sake, if it's "hardly breaking the bank" then buy your own. I'm all mad for you! When we had a BBQ we were over run with food, we bought enough for everyone as we were hosting the party but everyone bought something anyways. I really can't believe the cheek of them!0
