High bp, I've been told it's unlikely I'll carry to term let alone have a natural birth - I'll have to completely adjust my ideas if I get out of the council and the bp goes down though!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh I thought your BP was competely normal again and everything was okay with regards having babies etc.
My sister had high BP with her pregnancy. It is quite a worry alright.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

What kind of gap would you like?
I found Max easier than I thought when he was younger but he was really hard work from 9 months to 12 months. That coincided with my first trimester though, so that might have been it.
At the moment he is hilarious and is copying everything we say. He calls me Deeda (Lisa) instead of Mammy and often chants Deeda, Deeda, Deeda to himself. It is so cute!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I would like a gap of about 2 years but might be more like 3/4 so i dont have two in fulltime childcare at the same time as couldn't afford it. Who knows what will happen though.
Max sounds so sweet!0 -
Nope bp seems to have risen again now, just took a few months for the stress and misery to build back up! Not on medication again yet, but then again I have avoided going to the docs.
Am I right in thinking it took about a year to conceive Poppy Wendz? I know the next one could take a month and it has no bearing, so I guess it makes it a bit hard to plan!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

He is a sweetie ( am very biased!). He chats to people wherever we go and is a real smiler!
I will have to give up work when this baby is born as we are over the tax credits threshold and will lose about £600 a month in tax credits thanks to this new government.
Myself and OH had a chat at the weekend and have said that we will give this Ireland job a chance to materialise until October and if nothing happens by then we are considering having me move home and him look for contract work until a job in Ireland turns up.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

£600 a month in tax credits?! That's huge! I did an imaginary scenario of if NIM was a year older and we had a 1 year old (it looks like you can't get tax credits if under 25) and no matter if one of us left, work, one went part time, both worked full time, I couldn't get it over £1000 a year in tax credits or whatever it was they said we'd get.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yes it did take a year Dinah so def tricky to plan. Think we would start trying when Poppy is 3.
That is rubbish about the tax credits but at least you will get to spend more time with the children! When i did a test didn't look like we were entitled to anything, should check though really. Maybe is because i am 24 then hmm??
Sounds like a good plan about Ireland, sounds frustrating waiting!0 -
I wouldn't call you mad Wendz, I'd say you're a very happy mummy!
Labour just seems intense to me, I wouldn't say I'm scared or worried at the thought of it. Mainly because I'll just say 'bring on the drugs, baby!'
Max sounds so sweet though CMD! Such a happy little man.
Quite looking forward to starting the shred now! Thinking I might do a cycle of it this afternoon (post cleaning, pre bath time!) to warm myself up to it. Got a call this morning though, from the woman I cleaned for last Friday asking if I wanted to go Saturday evening (6-10) to clean in the Kitchen while she's having a dinner party. They have the biggest dishwasher I have ever set eyes on so I can't believe it'll be a very hard gig!
Dinah - I didn't know your BP had gone up, how awfulI remember reading somewhere that drinking semi skimmed milk helps (along with boosting weight loss, yes!) Same goes for Spinach, so maybe Green Monsters like Zig mentioned might be an idea to start having? I remember you saying you and NIM have smoothies in the morning and from what I've read GM's are one of the best you can have health wise.
