Afternoon all.
Dinah, I did a mystery shop to Barclays to open a fictional business account, I'm not normally a fan but they were fantastic, came up with some reat ideas and were very enthusiastic.
What 4x4 did you go for in the end?
My first single was the Wombles:rotfl:thats sooooooooo bad isn't it?? 2nd was the 'GhostBusters' theme....hmm have to say my taste in music hasn't improved much over the years:rotfl:

I'm a full on Abbey girl (or should that be Santander now??) when it comes to banks, so I really can't help you there Dinah!!
Went to Ikea today to get all the little bits we need, as well as our wardrobe and drawers. But I'm feeling stupidly broody after looking at all the kid stuff they have, OH had the right idea last weekend dragging me past but my Mum is terrible and now I want a Little Ralph!0 -
One step at a time love. A week ago you felt too young to be moving out, enjoy spending some time setting up your home and growing into this new stage of your relationship before you make tiny people. I think there is a fair few of us on here now who're a bit gooey when walking through the little people section in the supermarket, but waiting for various reasons so you're by no means alone.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Cinny - i agree with Dinah, enjoy living with your OH and getting all the house all done up nicely first. Can't blame you for feeling broody though ;-)

We haven't got one yet - planning to get a Kia Sportage I think, but can't find THE one within a reasonable distance. Thought we had it on Saturday, but the dealer selling it wouldn't agree that if it didn't pass the council's test for roadworthyness (a criteria of the loan) that he would fix the issues or give us the money back. While it seemed like it would pass we walked away, too much hassle. AND he wouldn't let us take it for a test drive without putting down a deposit, which seems wierd to me.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds very dodgy that Dinah! I wouldn't want to give him my money just for being awkward! Hope you manage to get all the pumpkin used up! I was going to make some scary cupcakes complete with fake blood but couldn't be bothered in the end and spent a fiver on penny sweets for the Halloweeners, and we got ... one little boy, from next door. Enough E numbers in the kitchen to probably power the house for a year, if only we culd harness the energy! Well off to pack for my jollies, setting off for the Lakes at 11. Have a good week everyone! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
