No scan pic tomorrow as just a check up. I do have one from my 12 week, will see if this works:
Shame you missed the class Birdie, but well done for gymming it.0 -

Loving the scan photo. Its amazing how quickly a few cells looks like a person.
No update yesterday as my dads car decided it didn't want to start again (5 mins after going perfectly) so we had to wait beside the road for 2 1/2 hours for a breakdown guy to come 4 miles (it's our breakdown cover, comes with the bank account), and when he got there he said 'you've drawn the short straw, I'm not actually a mechanic' so all he did was tow the car home, where it is still broken! Luckily dad's best mate is on holiday this week so he's lent him his car, but he's back on Saturday so if it's not fixed by then I have no idea how either of us will be getting to work next week! Think we'll be complaining about that service though, 2 1/2 hours - would never wait that long with AA, RAC, Green Flag etc. Didn't get home until after 10, so just went straight to bed.
Should have an evening free tonight to get a bit of moneymaking done, all the thank yous are finally gone, we do have a lot of ironing to do though (two irons, two ironing boards, one film, makes it a much quicker and less stressful process!) and we're out tomorrow night seeing Dara O'Brian with my brother, so not much will be done then either.
Car finishes selling on ebay tomorrow night. No bids yet, but 18 watchers.
Actually, some very exciting news. Opened my business bank account yesterday - it started to feel like it's really real! I do need to put a big wedge of time into that this weekend, and our bookeeping course starts today - NIM has got his course material pack through (he signed up by phone two days before my post application will have got there) but I haven't got mine yet so here's hoping I got on the course too!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hey everyone
Awww Wendz! What an amazing scan. That is really so exciting. I didn't do anything over Halloween, just picked up OH from the airport wooohoo! Yesterday we just spent the day chilling out, then we went downtown for dinner and to this cool jam session at the National Theatre. Tomorrow we are going on safari for 3 days. I am so excited, I really hope we get to see loads of animals. It's so nice to have OH here, and he has a new-found respect for my project :rotfl:
Birdie, I'm not looking forward to starting the pre-wedding regime!! Spin sounds horrible and hips, bums and tums is akin to torture. Hope you can walk today, the last time I did it I couldn't walk for about 3 days. The Kampala eek diet has made me lose half a stone, but I want to do a bit of firming of the wobbly bits too, could do with just a few pounds more. You must be so excited now, it's so soon:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
You have 2 irons Dinah?! How do you have so much ironing to do?! We only iron things when absolutely necessary, we have a rubbish iron and a wobbly ironing board but see no point in replacing them because we won't get our money's worth out of them! I'm not really painting a picture of the perfect housewife here am I?!
Bit of a disaster with your Dad's car, which bank are you with for the recovery? We're with Halifax and are supposed to get free breakdown cover and I'm worrying now! Hope one of the watchers on your car puts a bid in too, how much are you after for it?
It must be lovely having your OH there with you Lara! Safari will be fab too, I'm so jealous! you may tone up those flabby bits by running away from lions!
I'm OK today, not too sore, I took OH's advice and didn't do such heavy weights but did more reps of lower ones last night so feeling fine! I saw the H,B&T class through the window (whilst feeling stupid for turning up late!) and it looked pretty intense, I think I'll be dying after 10 minutes when I go next week! There are a couple of women there who do an hour of that class then do 45 minutes spinning straight after, they're mad! They look really good though so it must be worth it! I'm just not sure that even the lure of a perfect bottom would make me work that hard! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Dinah - what a nightmare with the car! That breakdown service sounds rubbish, I would complain too.
Lara - lovely that you have your OH with you now, hope you are enjoying it!0 -
Wendz that's amazing! It must feel very real when you have your first scan. Are you supposed to be taking supplements and stuff or just looking after yourself?
Ack Dinah, car trouble is such a pain. Which breakdown company was it? I have cover with Barclays and I think they're affiliated with Green Flag. 2 and a half hours is shocking! Fingers crossed for your car on ebay
Lol at the lure of a perfect bottom! I don't think I'll *ever* be one of those bonkers two-classes-in-a-row peeps. There's a happy medium! As a consolation for not getting the job I'm going to rejoin the gym and throw myself into it - the commute would have meant that the chances of me dragging my tired bottom there on a weeknight were very slim. (Just like my tired bottom is going to be - yay!)
Have a brill time on safari Lara and don't forget to take lots of pics! xLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
