I hope Dinah left you an easter egg!!!
I'm surprised the in-laws didn't try and lure you over for dinner. My Mum would be practically forcing my OH over for dinner if I was away (whether he liked it or not!!!).Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Come out of lurkdom Dinah - I see all the thank yous too! I want to know how the holiday went, weather etc!!!
We are so broke this month and I was trying to figure out why, but a lot of bills have come in at the same time, as well as me having to go and pay for a girlie weekend, pay the remaining balance for our Portugal holiday and then book flights back to Ireland for myself, OH and Max. I think I need to get onto AQA and get making some serious money this month.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Good stuff. Looking forward to it! When you get a chance can you tell me what MS companies you work for. I am with Retail Eyes and FSM but am wanting to get going on the MS as it could bring us in some much needed cash!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

NIM is the one to ask about mystery shopping now, he's with a lot more companies than me so I'm sure he can point you to his favourites. I like Grassroots but they don't have that many clients.
So, Turkey. First I feel the need to defend myself with the list I left! It was things like 'check online banking incase big bills go out before payday and we go overdrawn', 'check my email account in case we sell anything on amazon this week' and 'vine night on thursday - please get us some freebies' - it wasn't a list along the lines of 'please plaster fireplace and paint the dining room'! Also he may have been alone on Easter Sunday, but my parents did have him for dinner 4 times and they were away watching my brother race that day. I left him a fridge cake made with mini eggs
Congratulations Wendz! So happy for you. I like the name Poppy too - incidentally I took this photo the day she was born:
Thread psychic link in action I feel! (And before anyone thinks I'm morbid and thats a grave - its not, it's a broken bit of column!)
I wasn't overly impressed with Turkey tbh, nice weather and scenery, but the male-female attitude didn't really suit me, and I felt quite hassled whenever we left the hotel. We did really enjoy visiting the roman ruins at Ephesus, and a day out on a boat, and the turkish spa was fantastic.. basically we liked the things to do but we were bored on the days we spent sat by the pool or when we tried to go for a walk about town or along the seafront.
I also went on a crazy horse ride which involved going waist deep through rivers and that kind of thing (on my own, similar to Tete and the cinema this was a bit of a challenge for me to do something alone) and I started off thinking 'oooh this is nice, lovely scenery, good weather, then the horse decided he was in charge and reared twice and scared me half to death!
Did really miss NIM, and I'm glad I have the girlie holiday thing done, but I would have prefered it to be there with him. So I think we just need to get him in a job with more holidays!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lol - we were only kidding NIM about the list!!! Sure I would need to leave one with my OH if I were to go anywhere for a week because I deal with all the finances etc!
And typical of a man to make out he was all lonely when in fact he was well looked after by your family. Shame on you NIM! - it sounds like Easter Sunday was the only day on your own
Do you feel well rested after the holiday though? I had heard that women get hassled a lot over there but have never been so would never comment unless I had been (to advise you beforehand). Was the hotel and food nice?
How do you mean you got bored lying by the pool? That is my idea of heaven (esp now I have a 1 year old). I am not a great fan of direct sun though, I can usually be found under a parasol. I do like to read a good book though!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
