I think there's a bit of a competition going on around here for the most imaginative birthday treats, one guy had masive pork pies in the shape of a 5 and 0, one guy brought in samosas and chutney last week (deeee-lish!), I don't know what to bring in for mine!

Ah me too how I wished I had a groovy name like Blossom or Six! Though when I later learned my parents had planned to call me 'Twenty' I was very glad they didn't - with my surname it would have sounded like a packet of fags!

Forgot to say, 50-shaped pork pies - AMAZING! That is some challenge to step up to :rotfl:

I'm still working on my Day Zero list (the old fashioned pen and paper way so far) and lots of mine are animal related!

CMD, I like your list so far - I think you can definitely add some more frivolous aims! I've seen Rodrigo and Gabriela a few times (and had a slightly sweaty hug with Rodrigo !)

Twenty?! Thank goodness your parents had a change of mind on that one Poddle! I went through a phase of wanting to be an Elizabeth or a Jessica... can you guess where I got those names from?!

The 5-0 pies were fab, where does one even go to buy giant number-shaped pork pies?! They must have been proper expensive too, IT geeks clearly get paid far too much (not me! I'm a Trainee Geek with the salary to match!)

Lol, yes I can! Did I hear that they're making a Sweet Valley movie?! Oh how I loved those books and TV series! Clearly my feminist streak didn't kick in until much later - I remember that the books always used to describe how perfect they were - 5'6, 100lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes, California tan. Blerg!

Rodrigo y Gabriela are great aren't they? I have only seen them once and could have easily jumped on a plane and gone on my holidays there and then!

I am not great at frivolous. Will have to have a look at everyone elses to get ideas!

I loved Sweet Valley High (the books) and Mallory Towers. I used to fantasise about going to a boarding school. I am glad I didn't now. I reckon its quite lonely really
