One job is a 'Systems Quality Assurance Tester' testing new programmes before they roll them out to the rest of the company and the other is a 'Solution Analyst' which deals with any problems with the programmes... so kind of the front and back of a process!

If I PM you the wordy stuff of the CV (job experience and 'about me') would you have a look and tell me how to make it awesome?

Sounds very intersting Birdie and you sound very excited about it :)

I have the skills and experience suitable for both really, as far as I can tell! No idea about the money as the company does not advertise salaries in the internal bulletins (they're paranoid about people getting upset about one team getting paid more than another!).

    Sending you a PM!

    Hi Birdie,

I work in HR and Recruitment so if you would like any help with your Cv let me know.

Are the two jobs very different... I would probaly only apply for one job to show you are serious.

I was so shocked with what people were writing, but I guess as you said some people like to cause a reaction. I would be devastated if that happened in my family.

Tasha, can I be a right imposition and ask you to take a look at mine too?

Thanks for the feedback Tasha! Now to find some time to have a look and fix it!

If I do apply for both jobs, how do you think I should word the e-mail? I basically want to say that I'm unsure which role is best for me so it's up to them... but in a good way!

I think it might make sense to email it though, I've never really had much feed back on any of it, including layout etc. The more help the better. I'll email it over later on if you wanna PM me an email addy

    Hope the feedback was useful.

I would prob word it along the lines of both roles appeal to you for different reasons. Then say your reasons and match your experience to what they are asking for in the job description.

The feedback has been very useful Tasha, still plodding away at it, trying to grab minutes between jobs to work on it!

Feeling a bit grotty today, got a cold coming and got a stuffy nose so being a very attractive mouth breather at the moment, sounds great on the phone, all I can hear is my heavy breathing echoing on my headset! Also aching from last nights spinning (which was actually pretty cool because the instructor had made a Halloween mix so we were spinning to the Addams Family for the slow bit and Ghostbusters for the fast bit!), every time I get up my legs are even stiffer! I joined the gym last night and I've got my induction tonight, no idea how I'm going to manage! Oh and on top of that I can feel 2 spots appearing! Why me????

How are the other ill-ies on here? Eye feeling better Tete? And the mouth/everything Zig?

Are you on a big sugar come-down from yesterday Wendz?!
