Not used my voucher yet, off into town soon. I've sent myself a few to different email addresses so hoping to get a few bots. I've got four birthdays in November and then it's Christmas so hoping to get a few things for £5-7 for cheap/free pressies! £11 for a winter coat isn't bad at all!
Yeah - it is quite a lot of money. Think I will get OH to approach his boss about a transfer to Scotland first (before interview) as there is no point in me attending the interview if we are moving. Its looking likely that a move to Scotland is on the cards. Just need to find a creche that is as nice as the one this morning. The job down here is a 2 day week job.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Dont they chip and vacinate(sp?) them with that £50 though?Hi everyone,
It's my birthday yay! Have been spoilt rotton already.OH gave me boots and dress that I knew about and then also Cheryls Coles new book, a lovely snuggly hoody and a pregnancy pillow (bless him), he also got me a disney princess cake. My sister got me some lovely benefit make up from new york, yay! I also got some earrings and a necklace from my best friend who lives in Australia and some more make up from another friend.
Tasha - i use a few sites but the ones i like best are pureprofile (make sure you go on everyday to check as they don't always email the surveys) and i also quite like Panelbase and valued opinions.

I first found this site through the grabbit board - took over 2 months to find my way off it! Not good for someone already in debt!

Love all the OH stories! My OH isn't actually too bad which is good! Hope your OH gets some attention soon Cinny, it must feel weird moving out of the family home and feeling like no-one is really bothered. I know I felt like that!
I read that thread - poor girl. Obviously it is up to her Dad but sometimes people just have no sympathy whatsoever.
Thanks Tete for the Debenhams voucher! I bet all the good stuff will be gone by the time I manage to get to a Debenhams!
Happy Birthday Wendz! Sounds like you got some lovely things! Hope you're having a great day
Good news on the interview CMD! Although based on those figures, good luck with your OH getting a transfer!
Is Percy not your sister's dog Cinny? I'm much more of a cat person than a dog. I do like huskies and dalmations though.
Hope everyone is well today. How are your eyes Tete? I still feel awful. All I wanna do is catch up on Don't Tell The Bride (after all your comments!) but I have a maths presentation to do for Monday so I'd better crack on!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

They do do that yes. They don't teach them that 4.30am is not an appropriate time to come yowling around the bed though.
Thanks Zig, eyes still pink and sore especially after being outside in the wind and blinding low sunGood luck with the presentation, sounds grim!
Just bought a £4.99 book for Dad for Christmas with my voucher, and I got a penny change! Woo - profit!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Fingers crossed your OH can get a transfer CMD, £500 a month is A LOT!
I read the thread you linked to Tasha, think you were very nice to her unlike several other people! I don't really see the reason in being argumentative online, are people so desperate for any kind of interaction that they just say negative things to get a rise out of the other posters? I can't imagine being in that situation, I'd be feeling like the OP I'm pretty sure. My friend's Mum died when she was about 8/9, within a year her Dad had moved a new GF in and married her a couple of years after. It really messed with my friend's head because as a family they didn't get long enough to grieve and move on before she got a new 'Mum' and all signs of her real Mum were pushed out of the house.
Need a little 'applying for jobs' advice, got the internal bulletin and there are 2 possible jobs to apply for, finally got my CV back up to scratch and I'm not sure which job to apply for, would it look bad if I apply for both as they're within the same company?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hi Birdie,
I work in HR and Recruitment so if you would like any help with your Cv let me know.
Are the two jobs very different... I would probaly only apply for one job to show you are serious.
I was so shocked with what people were writing, but I guess as you said some people like to cause a reaction. I would be devastated if that happened in my family.

That is a harsh reaction to that thread Tasha. I would never make a grieving 20 year old move out of home. That is horrible. Have just given my opinion.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

One job is a 'Systems Quality Assurance Tester' testing new programmes before they roll them out to the rest of the company and the other is a 'Solution Analyst' which deals with any problems with the programmes... so kind of the front and back of a process!
If I PM you the wordy stuff of the CV (job experience and 'about me') would you have a look and tell me how to make it awesome?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Course I can.......do you have more expirence in one of the areas and is one more money?
