Not used my voucher yet, off into town soon. I've sent myself a few to different email addresses so hoping to get a few bots. I've got four birthdays in November and then it's Christmas so hoping to get a few things for £5-7 for cheap/free pressies! £11 for a winter coat isn't bad at all!

Yeah - it is quite a lot of money. Think I will get OH to approach his boss about a transfer to Scotland first (before interview) as there is no point in me attending the interview if we are moving. Its looking likely that a move to Scotland is on the cards. Just need to find a creche that is as nice as the one this morning. The job down here is a 2 day week job.

Love all the OH stories! My OH isn't actually too bad which is good! Hope your OH gets some attention soon Cinny, it must feel weird moving out of the family home and feeling like no-one is really bothered. I know I felt like that!

I read that thread - poor girl. Obviously it is up to her Dad but sometimes people just have no sympathy whatsoever.

Is Percy not your sister's dog Cinny? I'm much more of a cat person than a dog. I do like huskies and dalmations though.

They do do that yes. They don't teach them that 4.30am is not an appropriate time to come yowling around the bed though.

I read the thread you linked to Tasha, think you were very nice to her unlike several other people! I don't really see the reason in being argumentative online, are people so desperate for any kind of interaction that they just say negative things to get a rise out of the other posters? I can't imagine being in that situation, I'd be feeling like the OP I'm pretty sure. My friend's Mum died when she was about 8/9, within a year her Dad had moved a new GF in and married her a couple of years after. It really messed with my friend's head because as a family they didn't get long enough to grieve and move on before she got a new 'Mum' and all signs of her real Mum were pushed out of the house.

Need a little 'applying for jobs' advice, got the internal bulletin and there are 2 possible jobs to apply for, finally got my CV back up to scratch and I'm not sure which job to apply for, would it look bad if I apply for both as they're within the same company?

Are the two jobs very different... I would probaly only apply for one job to show you are serious.

I was so shocked with what people were writing, but I guess as you said some people like to cause a reaction. I would be devastated if that happened in my family.

That is a harsh reaction to that thread Tasha. I would never make a grieving 20 year old move out of home. That is horrible. Have just given my opinion.

One job is a 'Systems Quality Assurance Tester' testing new programmes before they roll them out to the rest of the company and the other is a 'Solution Analyst' which deals with any problems with the programmes... so kind of the front and back of a process!

If I PM you the wordy stuff of the CV (job experience and 'about me') would you have a look and tell me how to make it awesome?
