Well you do put up with me, but it is very cold, does anyone have some gloves to fit a Chilly Clumsy Irish Man? :snow_grin:snow_grin:snow_grin:snow_grin:snow_grin
You want to get yourself a pair of fingerless gloves, they're just the thing when you need to keep your hands warm and write at the same time.
For your cold room - you could invest a small sum of money in a little halogen heater. They use up very little electricity and have a lovely warm glow that makes you feel warmer just looking at it. I bought one for £12.99 last week and it's great.0 -
Total made today....35p..... but I did have a friend around this evening and physio. Tomorrow night I can hopefully get a bit more into things, although realistically I think it might be next week (when the house will be a LOT more furnished and set up) when I have proper time to get into it. I'll be able to do a canny bit over the weekend and on Friday (have the day off to wait in for furniture arriving) so hopefully I can be a bit less of a let down in a few days time!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I second this!I'm getting one for the living room, and one for the bedroom for nights when OH is working late. Silly to heat the whole house for little ol' me. Sure I read they only cost 3p an hour to run??
For the pups, we were told we could have one but I'd much rather stick to our plan of getting a rescue dog. All those pups are sure to get a fantastic home, while the dogs in shelters just need a second chance. And we can give one that!Just got a text from OH to say he's popped to one of his friends house because he 'wont be able to see him when we move' eh? I'm pretty sure he's just moving something-teen miles east from his town, not the other side of the world.
CMD - The groom was very romantic, I think he did a fab job0 -
Thought I'd update you on the pups too. OH text me at about 6am yesterday to say she'd gone into labour and it wasn't until midnight I got a 'puppies!' text  Last count I heard was 7!!
Will post a picture when I've got one but with moving it'll be a couple weeks till I see them. And I'm a little worried OHs Mum will be so busy with the pups she won't be able to come see the house. Which I completely understand but OH is feeling a bit neglected by his family atm :undecided
What breed are they Cinny? I'm desperate to get a dog, but we can't really get one till we get the house sorted etc.peaceandfreedom wrote: »You want to get yourself a pair of fingerless gloves, they're just the thing when you need to keep your hands warm and write at the same time.

This is one of the reasons I'll never spend money on a dog. I like to rescue if I can too. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Now THIS idea I like.
Tasha, the more the merrier, but there is an entry fee, one bottle of good whiskey for us to get to know you over:D
Some good news already...I think. The guy I emailed is on his holliers this week, but one of the 2 founders (The one who interviewed me) responded instead and said they would be in touch once he gets back.:j:j:j:j

Really they cost that little to run? I thought they were expensive - I'm going to look into this one! This is one of the reasons I'll never spend money on a dog. I like to rescue if I can too.
