:eek:I would never be able to do that!
LOL!
I did a low carb diet a few years ago and the no sugar thing was a killer! I was a wreck for a couple of weeks, I remember crying really hard and scaring OH because I couldn't find any pork scratchings and they were the only crisp type snack I could have! I had the odd sneaky nibble on a bit of chocolate and it has never tasted as good as it did when I hadn't eaten it for days on end!
Good news on the grant Wendz, I'm pleased you managed to get it!

By changing every week it keeps your metabolism constantly adapting, and stops us getting bored! There is no reason to believe different diets will have a detrimental effect on your health over time, infact I think sticking to one diet for a long time is more likely to deprive you of vitamins as some just completely cut out certain foods. None of the diets we're planning are artificial ie those nasty chemical shakes, its all real food. The most effective time of any diet is the first fortnight before your metabalism adapts to the change (and before you start cheating through boredom!) so we're hoping to cash in on that.
Feel like migrane round 2 might be on its way, head is spinny and has gone from pain at the front to the side, all I need is for it to move to a halo all around and I'll be back to where I was last night.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The diet sounds very extreme Dinah, but then again that usually means it might actually work! Again I couldn't do it!
Came home and have a cheque from insurance company for my crash over a year ago for my excess saying it was settled 100%, first I heard of it! Makes the blow of the car costs a lot easier though!0 -

I did a detox last year Dinah and cut out tea, within two days I had the most horrendous headaches (I take migraines too), hopefully if it's that it'll settle down.
Sorry had to laugh at Birdie getting stuck at home because of the electric gates, makes me feel better about not even getting home tonight. I went shopping after work, came home and realised I'd left my house keys in work, duh! Had to come to mum's as was too far to go back for them (and discovered them missing at 8.30pm tonight) so work is closed.0 -
Good news about the cheque Wendz! I think you need some good money news with all the car problems you've been having!
LOL@ Swinstie, at least my getting stuck at home wasn't my fault, it was YEDL's fault! Bloody Yorkshire electric, can't be trusted! :rotfl:
How are you feeling this morning Dinah? Did headache #2 develop into Something Nasty or go away?
