Wow that's really exciting Wendz! Are you getting seriously big?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Bit of a headache today, pulling round though. I was close to snapping earlier, wanted chocolate and just something a bit more enjoyable. Then I remembered we can have natural yoghurt, so threw it in my 'curry' i made for lunch, and fooled my brain into thinking its creamy. Spent ages in Sainsbury's oggling the fruit though!
Managed to get 19 listings on ebay yesterday - 1 of them (well 3 of them but on one listing) sold straight away so thats good. Only £6 but it all helps. At mums for dinner tonight but should be home by 8pm, so going to try to do at least an hour tonight, see if I can get another 10 or so listed. Would love to get some more furniture and bulky things on there, make a visual difference to the garage and ebay room.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I don't think I am 'that' big but met a few women at antenatal class Mon who were 4-5 weeks ahead and they were a lot bigger so think i may have a sudden growth spurt. Also I guess I am used to it so can't tell how big I am getting. Trying to take weekly pics to document it!
Well done on the listings Dinah!
Can you not even have fruit, wow I would miss that.0 -
Not for 5 days, which is hard for me as I usually get 4-6 fruits in a day, but at least its only for 5 days, and I'm halfway there now.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Quiet on this thread today. Quiet at home too. I did some good work (and a bit of skiving!) Just going back to the grindstone now.
Yesterday I had a fab day, met this really nice company director who's going to help me out with my research. It was so nice to meet someone so friendly and open to doing stuff.
Also discovered a drool-worthy home accessories shop, it was all painted black with some really bright coloured jars, prints, throws and loads of cool jewellery. Very glam. Obviously everything cost at least £1 million. Might have to paint the walls black with Dulux and spray paint all decorative possessions bright yellow. Not sure I'll get quite the same effect but who knows.... :rotfl::A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
LOL Lara, it's always worth a try I suppose? I find that things bought in those drool worthy shops never look quite as good once you get them home because they're out of context once taken away from the cool surroundings!
How's the diet going Dinah? Still sticking to it? Are you feeling better head wise now?
My last day at work today! My desk has been decorated with balloons and pretty things and I'm wearing a veil... can't really muster up the energy to work with so much confetti around! Luckily I got pretty much everything that needed doing done yesterday morning so I'm good to sit around doing nothing all day!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Lol, nobody does any work on their last day anyway! How exciting :jI definitely wouldn't be able to sit still - it's the last day of your 'old' life!!
Lara, I wouldn't recommend the yellow spray paint either :rotfl: I have a love/hate relationship with those type of shops - I'd love to treat myself to something nice, but invariably I can afford a mug at most *sigh*
How's the diet going Dinah? Hope you're feeling better. There was an interesting article in Zest this month about how diet can cause migraines/headaches - not just the chocolate 'triggers'. I'm not sure if you can read it online?
Hope everyone's having a good Friday - anyone got exciting plans for the weekend?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hi everyone. Diet going well except I cracked and have had 2 apples and 2 diet cokes. Which have completely cured the headache! I decided I actually don't want my body clensed of sugar - I enjoy baking far too much to cut it from my life!
Doing the I diet next week, which looks like very boring calorie control. Unless we do the juice diet... decisions decisions.
Angry at a mystery shopping company, they released a job because the receipt wasn't clear enough (its huge so had to be photographed from quite far away) and we didn't get a new scan to them within 13 hours. I hate their proofreaders!
Going to an album launch tonight (no booze because of the diet) then tomorrow morning meeting the brother's new gf. He's being a real charmer and going out on the cycling club run and leaving her with mum for the day, so mum has asked me to come help amuse her. Have an 84th birthday party on Sunday too.
I was planning on working on the front garden tomorrow and Sunday, as we're due decent weather. However I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with it. It's about 3m x 4m, with a rickety low fence along the boundary and a fairly knackered 1.5m tree. The rest is grass and boarders where plants should be. So I'm needing some inspiration, given the front of the house is a boring 1960s bungalow what would make you notice it? Smarten up the grass and put some neat plants in? Alpiney plants with slate chippings around them? Remove the wierd wonky tree (does flower in spring, but its not neat looking!)? Any comments welcomed!
Bad news for my grandad today, he's been told he isn't entitled to any of my grandma's pension as she didn't teach after 1988. Which is about £1200 a month he's lost. So on his income of £610 a month he is going to have to move, and fast. The really stupid thing is she taught until the mid 1990s as a supply teacher, but they don't seem to count that.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's terrible about your Grandad Dinah, how is he supposed to survive on that much per month? Disgraceful.
I'm a total non-gardener so can't help you plan your garden! I'd just go and pick out the prettiest plants in the garden centre and invariably kill them within 3 months.
I was in Home Bargains the other night and noticed that they're selling the South Beach Diet book and a South Beach Entertaining cook book which made me think of you after your blog post about dieting and socialising. More diets need to realise that people can't just sit at home eating carrots and drinking water all the time!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Aww sorry to hear about your Grandad Dinah, that seems very unfair.
Today we gave notice and booked our wedding - exciting :j
If I don't 'see' you before the trip Birdie, have an amazing brilliant time!!! I'm so glad they had a little celebration for you at work too. I hope the wedding is wonderful and you enjoy every minute of the wedding moon.
