Most cities don't. The bigger they are, the more calcified and moribund they are.

Is that not a jobs thing? True many people do move for a job but this place is dead, they try and do different things but not many people support them

What would you like to do, that you can't? Play in a band!

What instrument do you play? Bass guitar, Im looking for all female members! So its a rare thing up here!

So long as you are aware of why you're moving on, and what you intend to do when you have moved. Otherwise you will be making things "different" rather than "better".

I totally agree with that I find if you "run away" what ever your running away from will catch up with you. Im not running I'm trying to make life better for myself!

I'm not talking about running away, I'm talking about if you're going to chase something, then ensuring it's not just a shadow is a good first step.

Hello diary and everyone! Not a lot going on moneywise, have a few expensive items going on Ebay with watchers :D. So what I am doing now is looking into how much everything will cost when I go down to Edinburgh.

I think I will need £2500 plus as I may be out of a job for a few months but I will need money for rent, bills, a deposit and a van to move my stuff (won't be much at this rate :rotfl:) .

The more I save the better and if I dont use all the funds I'll put it towards my house deposit and a little treat for myself!

Have been looking at places on Gumtree as well and I can afford to flatshare! Now I have a headache with all that thinking! :)

What I meant is that I might not find a job in Edinburgh but would be good to have some cash to back myself up!

On a plus note have just withdrawan £55 out of Paypal so that will go towards the Barclaycard and 100 day challenge. I will update my sig when that comes through! :A
