Hi all, an update starting to look forward to Download, need to find what I have in my savings pot tho, think its £300. I was looking on the map and they have loads of stalls even ones to get tattooed and pierced!

Been reading about the history of Edinburgh, wow that place has history I will probably have to take a tour when Im there next week! So the plan is Megabus to Edinburgh, next day Happy Bus to Download and return to Edinburgh Mon and then home Tuesday! I cant wait, all iternary has been printed and checked and suitcase half packed!

So many things I want to do at Download too, lots of bands and stalls to see! :T Money to be spent :eek:. Off to dye my hair!!

Went into the bank today and put in £41 into the ISA, should have more coming in this month. :j

I also met up with the DJ who is going to doing my party...oh didnt I tell you I happen to be turning 30 this year but its a MSE party. The only thing is the food will be expensive £5 per head so its dependent on numbers as I am on a budget. I've found my dress, cake and decorations just need to buy them payday Something else to look forward too apart from Download!

Means I wont be saving as much as I should over the next few months but it'll be worth it! Next step is Edinburgh in which I will visit next week en route to Download to get a feel of the place! All excitement and fun coming up!

Well you can tell that I was hyper in the last post :rotfl: that was without coffee!!!

Ok Facebook invites are all out, paper ones have been designed I just need to tweek them a little, make them stand out!

Off to do my budget!

Hello all! Ok I did something crazy at the week . I contacted a guy about being a singer in their band. Well I can sing but Ive been out of practise so have warm up the vocals and practise. :eek:
After I come back from Download I will meet them and hopefully I have time to practise eek!

Nothing else to report had a NSD today, bag is packed for Download apart for a few bits to pack and today I will do some tidying up!

What's crazy about that? If you can sing - then go for it and enjoy yourself.

Hi all, last post before I go off to Download. Will in Edinburgh tomorrow and then onto the Download bus the Thurs. I will try and keep you posted as my mobile internet isnt very good and isnt MSE

Yep I made it, I survived Download! It was awesome the ppl were really friendly and the bands bar a few were amazing to watch! As for money I am skinters! I have got money to put in the ISA tho. We had lovely weather with rain on and off until the Sunday where we got heavy rain and it was a mudbath! Came back to the hostel on Mon and I had mud caked in places you wouldnt believe took me ages to get it off! :rotfl:

I also managed to catch the Download lurgy and didnt much at all during the festival but still managed to get hit on by a few guys, one particulary was looking for his pidgeon (I think it was a metaphor for his soulmate!) :cool:

Edinburgh was amazing it has so much history, I defo want to move there and met a few ppl who had moved there and loved it! So I need to make a plan to get there asap. Just put loads of stuff on Ebay and plan to put stuff on this weekend as its the free listing weekend again! :T
