Hi all, well nothing to report on the debt busting, the main goal for me is to move to a bigger city. I would love to move to Edinburgh so I have to get the debt cleared. I calculated if I paid it off via my wages I would clear it before Xmas and then I would need £2000 savings to go away with. So I would have that by July 2012.
That is a depressing thought, I would defo be there by my 31st birthday but I want to move sooner......off to kill some debt!0 -

Why do you want to move?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hi ZTD, I am in a "city" which is more like a town that doesnt welcoem change, so therefore when they can all the young people move south. Theres more to do in the bigger cities. Also I have been looking for my band for two years and there's no one who's suitable or prepared to commit.
Also my flatmate will be moving to England soon as all her family are there and she moved up here because of her job but she's going for interviews now and I dont doubt she will get something as shes very experience! I do love Inverness but its time to move on...:)0 -

Most cities don't. The bigger they are, the more calcified and moribund they are.gothrockchic1 wrote: »so therefore when they can all the young people move south.
Is that not a jobs thing?gothrockchic1 wrote: »Theres more to do in the bigger cities.
What would you like to do, that you can't?gothrockchic1 wrote: »Also I have been looking for my band for two years and there's no one who's suitable or prepared to commit.
What instrument do you play?gothrockchic1 wrote: »Also my flatmate will be moving to England soon as all her family are there and she moved up here because of her job but she's going for interviews now and I dont doubt she will get something as shes very experience! So long as you are aware of why you're moving on, and what you intend to do when you have moved. Otherwise you will be making things "different" rather than "better"."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
