    Hi All
Thank you all so much for your reviews, whether good or bad, it’s good to know.
Can anyone explain to me what is the difference between lipo laser and Strawberry laser?
I bought an offer on groupon and have since had a few sessions at normal price and have seen a slight difference.

N7teasy is right in saying “you get what you pay for” and all the info re “deals” has made me start to think, cheap may not be best. So I will start to look for an alternative clinic. Can anyone recommend clinic (s) in Birmingham or nearby, much appreciated.

    Hello

Lipo laser is an umbrella term containing many techniques that remove fat with the aid of laser! Laser Lipo techniques include non surgical (i lipo, strawberry laser lipo, M.E.L.T. Laser Lipo) and surgical (Smart Lipo, Cool lipo etc) options!

I guess there is no need to describe how strawberry laser lipo works while you already had your sessions.

As for your conclusion (you get what you pay for) i can't agree more
    Trying to save some money!
  • Hey ladies, I also seen this deal and was woundering if it helps cellulite??
  • I did 6 sessions at the Aesthetics clinic London. This is a complete scam and dont waste your money. It does absolutly NOTHING. The whole point of the scam is they tell you to improve your diet , drinks loads of water and excerise regulary and straight after using it. Of course people are going to lose weight and waist size if they follow this regime.!! And some not very bright people will think its due to the 'laser lipo' !!

Do not waste your money. This scam should be pulled by the authoritites so people do not waste any more money.
  • I've seen a number of people making statements that Laser Lipo doesn't work because you're advised to exercise in between treatments and to modify your diet to drink plenty of fluid. They obviously either haven't had the reasons for this explained to them, didn't understand, or didn't listen. The clinic I have been to are fantastic and explained everything to me. I've then conducted my own investigation to further my understanding of the bio-mechanical reasons for the advice they give. Therefore, I thought it might be a good idea to clarify this for everyone else :-

    1) Why do you have to drink more water?

Answer - This is to help the body flush the fat cell contents, released by the treatments out of the lymphatic system. This is a common detoxifying method to help dilute the unwanted fat cell contents and results in more of them being passed in urine.

    2) Why do you have to exercise in between treatments?

Answer - This is a completely non-invasive treatment that stimulates normal biological processes within the body. The treatments release fat cell (adipocyte) contents. These are absorbed into the lymphatic and vascular systems. The best way to ensure the body does not re-deposit them is to ensure they are utilised by raising your metabolic rate (increasing calorific demand). Therefore, the exercise is to ensure you retain the results achieved in between treatments and don't simply "put it back on".

    3) Why do you have to eat healthily?

Answer - the primary objective of treatments such as Laser Lipo are to achieve inch loss. However you look at it, the most common cause for being overweight is that you eat too much and do too little! So, this advice is aimed at capitalising on your drive (you must want to lose weight to be paying for the treatments) to stimulate a change to a more healthy lifestyle. This both improves the results you will achieve during the course of treatments AND gives you the best chance of retaining those results. Any treatment that removes fat (including surgical liposuction) will only deliver temporary results if you don't change the balance between how much you eat (calorific supply) and how much you do (calorific demand). Carry on as you were before the treatment and you'll be back at the same size again very quickly!

So, in summary, the treatments do work (they certainly do for me!), that's why you experience inch loss at each treatment. The advice some people complain about, or state as their rational for not believing the treatments work, is actually in your best interests to achieve the best results possible in the immediate term (more "bang for your buck" from the course) and longer term (helping you continue to lose inches and retain the results from the course of treatments). After all, most people who have these treatments have already tried exercise and dieting prior to trying Laser Lipo. The reason they try Laser Lipo is because dieting and exercise on their own aren't delivering the results they desire.

I hope this helps everyone understand this a little better.
  • Hello
I have a query and wondered if anyone in the beauty business with one of these machines could answer for me.
If you were not overweight but wanted to tone/lose inches on a specific area so you did not need to diet, for example lets say 8 stone and 5ft 5inches, so certainly do not need to lose weight or exercise that much.
Would these machines work, firstly in losing the inches and secondly in keeping them off, and if so would you have to eliminate certain foods from your diet permanently. Would you have to stay on a low or fat free diet? and would you need to continue to exercise, and if you did not would the fat cells return even if you did not gain any weight.
Having checked lots of sites with photos I could not find any whereby the client did not initially have a weight issue to some extent and would therefore naturally lose inches as they lost the weight.
  • Dear all,

I've had laser/ultrasound lipolysis and strawberry lipolysis. Both apparently similar but the ultrasound seemed to last a lot longer. Similar to a lot of the people on here, I bought 3 sessions of strawberry lipo and did the exercise and ate as they suggested (it's pretty much what I do and how I eat anyway).

To be honest, I felt like it was as effective just de-bloating or detoxing for a few days. It seemed like i'd just lost water weight and obviously put it back on soon enough. Not worth your money or time, ladies and gentlemen.

Laser/ultrasound lipolysis is where they had a probe and rub that over whichever area you want them to work on. You also here a very high pitched noise as it works. Again, had it done on my stomach and that seemed to, at least mostly, stay off once I'd completed my 6 session course. If you have to choose between the two then go for that one! I got them both on wowcher/groupon.

    All the best!
